Wha, wha, what?

Um blue streak is as potent as any other strain. It may not be a "10" as far as potentcy, but a few of hits of a well grown plant will medicate one nicely. So, MUCH more potent that nice mexibrick, although your mexibrick is likely to be a mexican sativa..much different high than the blue streak.

If you don't trim your plants after harvest, yes there will be stems and leaves along with the buds. Otherwise the calyxes are rather large and the calyx to leaf ratio is high(meaning plenty of flowers).

can you elaborate on your question?

willy, if you have grown your blue steak under less then 80w per square foot then that would account for the stems in your bud.

Blue steak is an amazing plant.... I was able to keep it as low as 4-5 inches from the soil level using lst and i had maybe 4-5 fan leaves by the end and the other 90% of the plant was just pure bud. Fat and thick.

Now the yield was not great but that was 100% my fault for starving the roots of space in the first few weeks which is when it likes to veg.

I harvested 2 days ago so will be putting pics up on my thread soon... got some nice zoomed in shots aswell.

So in short ... DO NOT ever compare Blue Streak to mexican brick weed!
Even the original lowryders which are not even half as potent as blue streak would beat brickweed. Hope that helps you decide

I am shooting for at least an ounce off each plant. I have high goals and expectations. I know the BS will be better then the ML i have grown and the ML is very potent and makes great bubble hash.

Hey willy, just noticed your new to the forums, its a great place here, give us a bit of info about your other growing experiences?

What setup you got at the moment or what you thinking of growing in? What lights? you thinking of soil or hydro etc etc and we can let you know what you should be yielding.

It all depends on what you put into them but one really important thing about growing quality weed is genetics.
Brick weed cross polination is done at random by the wind. Blue streak and other mdanzig and (any other serious breeder as well) is selective the high resin producing mothers that have the perfect characteristics with hand picked healthy males etc. For sometimes years before they release the strain.
