Surely it's a shame... but the red lights won't ever completely disappear, no matter how much the current powers that be would want it to. It's too famous and culturally a foolish thing to do... so let's just hope the dutch gov understand this, now and in the future.

I just got a little trip booked in three weeks, have to check out the situation... if I can get my ass up from those coffeshop sofas...

Pretty Lame. The Dam is totally changing. I'm glad I was able to get a few trips over there in before all of this bullshit started to happen. It truelly was an Adult Disneyland. Not anymore. What about all the sex shops with the Huge Ass plugs and Beastiality movies in the windows? Are they having to take down there displays too? If you ever take the time to see what is in those displays you'll see some crazy sick ass shit.
I'm married now and haven't used the red light services since I was a single young buck. Oh well Guess I'll have a "back in the day" story to tell the young ones now.

It's definately going to be different, but the best whores are not in the RLD anyway, and the area has become a breeding ground for shady hard drug dealers, which is not good when you are constantly getting hassled/eye balled, and you can't relax as you're always thinking about your safety.

Anyone saying that it's a shame that they're not there any more, etc, like dontlockmeup was saying before, and talking about story telling back in the day, obviously has no clue about finding good prostitutes, which are available in every city in every country of the world.....the ones that advertise it either on the street or in red windows in the Netherlands are just doing it to get as much money as fast as possible, and may look good but give shitty service and always try to rush you.
