here it is 30 F right now, the coldest it got was 5 F, but this December has been cold after a warm November. Nothing like the -15F in Jan 2004, or the 65 F warm thunderstorms we had a few years ago! I hated that, this December is more to my liking but wish there were bigger snows, we are getting an inch or two at a time frequently, once it was 6 inches. Not far from here they are getting a lot more. I love winter weather! And hate anything that interferes with it!

well I like my winters, although I must admit if I was in Minnesota that kind of cold would get old fast!

I'm tired of this shit already, this IS my last winter here in MN,
I'm fucking done with it, it's now -38F @ my home. My place as
mentioned previously is a log building, several logs have 'popped'
hard like a gunshot when adjusting to the cold, called 'checking'
even logs 50 years old like mine still have moisture/pitch in them.

well it's 10F here now with quite a windchill, walked up and down my drive for exercise and by the time I was done I was a popsicle!
