Blue Streak grow, how small can you go!
Hi all,
My setup is a crazy home made cfl one, and PC fans control the air flow. I'll post links to more detail on the setup later. I'm using soil and the odd biobizz nutes. It's my second ever grow so I'm still learning and making mistakes. After the initial mistake i have tried to keep these as small and low as possible to see with AF how small of a space you can grow in because about 85% of everything i grow goes into butter for a close relative that suffers from chronic pain illnesses. I'd love to be able to help other medical users set up a grow for under 50 euro (70 dollars roughly) and produce enough to medicate themselves without having to set foot in a grow shop. Out of 6 seeds picked, 6 cracked, 2 were males and 3 were female ... one i still do not know cause it was not autoflowering so is just vegging in the 20/4 setup. I've used it to practise cloning etc. I got my seeds a while ago so i think they would have been from the first release when MD came back so i expected them not to be 100% stable. But just thought I'd show what happens when you do not move an AF strain into a big enough pot in the Veg stage, you get some small ass plants Especially when mixed with extreme LST.

So this is when the other ladies were chopped and these finally got there homes... they would have been about 3 weeks at this stage if not a bit more. I tried LST v's training them onto a wire... LST wins, look at the height difference So the top two are proper blue streaks as they are meant to be... the males were perfect aswell .. but the bottom two are mad! The left is the tiny one I'll show you more of later and the right is the non AF one. --- Right so i then cut the bottom out of the pots and put them on top of another pot of soil because my grow space is about 2'x1.5'x1' ... its tiny so anything that saves space is good for this grow. These two are sooo crystally! mmmm they are still tiny but it will pack a punch. here is the non AF one and finally an actual bonsai blue streak, It started off REALLY bushy, it produced branches from branches, soooo bushy!!! but stayed sooo soo small ... i used lst to try make it fill out and i think it looks amazing I removed its biggest fan leaf to show the size of it If there are any women reading this forum get ready to say ... awww its so cute.Since taking these photos the bonsai has actually started going into bud, very late compared to the rest (maybe 3 weeks later) but is going well now! And I think I should be able to get a few seeds from it to see will they be bonsai aswell ![]() I'll try update more tomorrow with pics of the plants now about 4-5 days from the chop ... i don't expect much at all maybe 15grams in total because of the direction this grow went But it was fun! I'd highly recommend AF and especially its worth the wait for these BS seeds, the resin production is great on these buds the photos don't do them justice. Well done guys!

So i chopped down the ladies a few days ago. and i can see from them that the root balls are tiny because i left them in the small cup for the first month... can't wait to get another blue streak going and really see what they can do but im more then impressed with the results.
This was at day 60 and i decided to take off the main bud so that i could have something that was a week ahead of the rest when i get itchy fingers. Then these are chop day I left on on one or two buds so that i could see if it finished off any buds that were missing the light and also i pollenated some buds way too late so i am giving them as much extra time as possible. Here they are hanging up, so off two really tiny abused bs i should get about 14g I'd be happy with 14. And next grow i know i could get about 20g each plant easily. They grow so well. Here is some close ups using a camera and x30 lupe I have smoked some of that close up bud and even though it was only cured for about 2-3 days max it was still a potency of about 6 with a really nice high that has such potential So i didn't smoke the rest of the bud and will give it at least 2 weeks curing before i give it a full test Can't wait. Oh and tastes amazing for just dried... if my other strains tasted this well after just drying i dont think id be bothered curing.Well done MD this is a great strain. |

I gave my Bluestreak a big dose of LST on 2 of the females.
I loved the way those Bluestreak nuggets formed after that. Yours seem to be a very similar pheno to what mine were. K+ They look tasty.

Well last night I had the lads over, there all smokers and we would class ourselves as connoisseur's at this stage so this was the ultimate test. So after 1-2 joints of normal stuff I decided to roll a blue streak. It has been cured less then a week so I told them not to judge it yet.
Firstly i passed around the jar... now my last grow was shiva shanti 2 which smelled like garlic and sick mixed together haha I hated it ... this smells like fruity heaven! It got the lads drooling straight away. The taste is so clean and pure for only a week cured, the high wastes no time in getting a hold of you and really lets you know that your stoned. I felt like my whole body was stoned, my eyes were extremely stoned and it was quiet a euphoric happy stoned. We had to put it out and relight it later, it was just too good to smoke in one. There is absolutely no mistake of the cross with the blueberry, it shines through so well in the smell and taste. I have a blueberry blunt premium paper that I'm waiting till they are fully cured and will be rolling the blueberry blunt that will probably kill at least one of us Can't wait.I can't actually bring myself to make cannabutter out of this for the pain patient that i grow for so I've just bought some local stuff cause it's worth paying mad prices on the streets just to keep this for myself cause i only got a small amount. Although i'd say it would make some dangerously strong butter ![]() I'd just like to say thanks to MD for this strain and thanks to s_a_h for keeping it alive etc. |
