Hi crew.......................... ...a general question for you all.what do you guys use to press your kif with?i've seen alot of press both hand powered and electric and was wonder what you guy's prefere and why?i'm not looking to make alot ifigure 4 or 5 grams of hash per harvest provided i have that much extra left after meeting mrs. one eyed jack's needs......................... ......

i just made myself a hash press last week at work but havent had time to take any pucs so il postsome in the new year wen i get back from switzerland...peace

I prefer to leave it unpressed. it is better for smoking, it's always ready for the next bowl.
the occaisional time i press, it's either with a piecemaker press, or the good ol' shoe method.... sole hash.

like trichomefarmer says the shoe method is easy and u get good results

use organic cellophane if u can get it

get ur kiff...make a bag with colophane....insert kif......wrap in wet news paper..put on a hotplate/pan on the stove on low...put a lid on it ....flip it a couple times...till the news papaer is almost dry....take off pan...place on hard surface....roll out with ...rolling pin....or wine bottle.....take off newspaper ...and continue to roll till u get the consistancy u want!!!! i use this method everytime.!!!

thank's fella's i appreciate all the input...............i'm kind of lazy so i think i'll be leaning towards the screw press type for now or at least til a gain a little more experiance pressing.............

if ur lazy id say the screw press is more effort, coz u would be pressing the hash in the shoe wioht the walking u would do anyway, whereas the screw press is a whole effort specifically for that, lol, its ok if u dont get me, im drunk again.

lol no problem i follow ya i think sitting on my ass and using a screw press is more um......lazy then actually getting up to walk around..................

I'm cheap

I also have a small jar of fresh loose kif

...but once I started to get a few jars full that I wasn't really smoking up...I pressed some up for long term storage

around 7 grams worth in the pic
