Shit is a very good Skunk :SK x SK(Afgani dominant SK) Very vigorous growth , explosive budding and very nice end product too.

l33 - have you found an exceptionally quick finisher? Out of how many females? I have a pack coming as part of my search of a plant that really is 'done' @50 days (organic soil).

Well I had only 2 females and were very much alike.I wouldnt say shit is a very fast strain but its quite fast.From seedplants I believe its more like a 55-65 day finisher, perhaps if the plants were more mature when they went to 12/12 they would finish a bit quicker.I was surprised to see that CMass and LaNina I grew along the two Shit finished faster than both Shit females.But I believe if you do a good selection you you can definitely find a fast true 50 day finisher.

Basically many strains are very fast outdoors compared to other plants but when you do the comparison indoors then things may go opposite.This is due to the fact that some plants start to flower with more hrs of light so earlier in the season.So they finish faster than others.But when you grow them indoors and trigger flowering instantly with going from say 18/6 to 12/12 these fast finishers may be slower to the other plants that finished later outdoors.So for example EQ is said to be the fastest plant from MNS but it finishes first outdoors compared to other strains of mns.Indoors this is not the case always , for example some G13xSK1 and LaNina finished faster in my indoor garden when I grew them side by side with EQ.

So if you grow outdoors and need the fastest plant from mns go with EQ but if you grow indoors other plants from different strains may finish earlier.

Thanks, they shipped all of those packs of dreamtime, so I plan on having a lot of pix/questions up here and at the other board as to what is what. I have 4 lil ssh's & 2 spices (i think) now. Are there any obvious indicators to SSH phenotype probability (sounds right in my head lol)? I.E. One of the 4 seedlings shows a distinct curve on the tip of the last leaflet, NL genes? 1 is lime green, middle of the road as far as leaf width, Sk genes? etc. They are very young (less than 3 wks), but is there something other than the obvious that I should be looking for in veg to tell the pheno's apart? (catpiss/other distinct funny smell, nute hog/bitch, stem color/structure, etc...) I have never smoked super silver haze to my knowlege, but I used to get "Haze" uptown NYC for like 8 years w/o ever smelling anything like it. I used to call it "Garbage", cause it smelled like a flowery yard on Staten Island (HUGE landfill) on a warm day. It was absolutely the strongest bud that I have ever had. As it was commercial, I have to assume that whomever grows it goes less than 12 wks. I hope that I can find something that blows my mind like that bud in SSH/spice. They stopped serving me when Guliani cracked down lol. Brickweed has me reminiscing ....

so then do you think this strain is mostly indica because of the fast finish times?
that lant looked hydrid or atleast 30% sativa to me...

Hi DigitalHippy,

Well Skunk is around 75% sativa , 25% indica. But remember that it depends on selection some phenos can be more indica or sativa than others.

Now, Shit which is somewhat more indica as it is SK x SK(afgani dominant Sk) looks like closer to ~40-55% sativa to me . The Shit plants I had were quite stretchy compared to other strains , they grew tall and had sativa looking structure , buds and leaves.Though you can definitely see the indica influence on these plants as well.
