final update
B402NOG... things went ok, pretty good. But could have finished better.
Sorry for the delay, life got in the way again. i have a good amount of clones, and im gonna spend a little more time with them this next time around. The 2nd round just finished up. Some are tighter then others, some have higher trich then others. One plant showed some male flowers , she has been removed and the clones as well. BUT, my temps hit 90-92f. 2 nights in a row, Before my lazy ass removed the humidifier and installed the portable ac. So heat contributed to the hermie i believe. I am gonna need to work with her a little more this next round. Also purchasing new bulbs, my bulbs have some use, and i know i used to get bigger yields. Larger colas. So im working on that. Of the 3 plants i removed, 1 hermied, and 2 had this weird problem of the tips of the colas eating themselves in. Weird, never seen it before in the 8-10 years of my time. The leaves where healthy and not being being consumed as if the plant needed more nutes. But instead starting eating the colas, instead of pulling nutes from the leaves. Odd i thought. The buds turned golden yellow, trichs still stayed. maybe a seasoned viewer may have some thoughts on that? That happened day 30 or so, when they where getting 1500ppm of food including 5-6 mill per gal of pk13/14. ph 6.0,And the eating continued to the end. I also can add that i was running 6.0 early in flowering, i believed i started seeing P def, i lowered the feedings to 5.8, and leaf consumption seemed to slow. Any thoughts on the colas eating themselves from top cola tip in? Almost like heat maybe i thought, but they are always a ft or 2ft or so away from the cool tubed bulb, fans running, and rearranged every other day at feedings. In anycase the camera is been borrowed by family 2 weeks ago and wont have it back till there back from vacation. So no pics, sorry. I tried scanning a bud, but that didint work so well. Next round i feel i will be able to bring them to there ability. Cj's a pretty potent strain, i'll give her that. And she sure deserves another few tries. i probably have only 2, maybe 3 phenos. 6 plants where real close in smell, structure, leaf, site's & trich production. I have 6 different clones to play with. They went to 90 days. but as i said before, she didnt show signs of sex the first 20 days. ( could have been my weak light bulbs!, ? ) So i cut at what would seem day 75. Take care an may we keep the Ganja Gods happily for ever after. Thanks for the update.Yea man I was having problems with hermies myself because of high temps.Summer can sometimes suck when it comes to heat stress.I even found a small amount of mold on the inside of one of my big buds but it was just a little and didnt spread.Good luck on the next crop man.Peace

Redemption
Well its been about 6 months or so, The casey's are doing well. Time for a small update. I Still have 5 clones to choose from. And in the process of running all 5 again. Gotta pick 2 to keep different phenos to keep.
This is one clone in particular dubbed #9, smells like a sweet rotten meat.clones extremely easy. Golf ball /racquetball size nugs type. pretty big stretch and longer nodes. Believe it would be the wreck style pheno (from what i can figure out) Third time i ran #9, this time extra co2 was in the room ( winter time, exhaust from natural gas furnace & water heater piped in via cpu type fan attached to a controller), and i could have feed her more, as you can see. I ran her at no more then 1200ppm with cns17 bloom this time. some pk13/14 in beginning @ 3-4 mil a gal, then koolbloom at 100-150 ppm. Some molasses & some 0-4-0 hp organics liquid guano. #9 is racey, and i would say psychoactive. one hit u feel her, 2 your nice for about 1.5-2hrs. BUT, 2-3 bowls & a few beers throughout the night, your seeing blue & red spots checkered through a swirling spider web when in low level lighting. Serious smoke. Thank you head for making this available, if u ever need a tester, let me know, cause as always i pay attention to detail. Her she is at day 60, no more feed from now on, gotta check the trichs under the microscope when to cut. expecting another 7 days. Take care & b-safe |

Hey all, Hindu Killer thanks for stopping in, she is definitely a prized plant in my eyes.
Doobieduck, your casey photos were amazing, i need to learn a few things about taken photos. A++++ BillyGoat , a pleasure to see you here, they did turn out well. But, i had another CJ #9 that was about a month behind her in flowering. She turned out to be the best to date, she was feed more. I unfortunately didnt take photos, more trichs, larger colas. I am about 20 days into another batch of the caseys, i have different cuts this run. 3,9, & 10. CJ #10 has a more compact structure. i believe it was the higher yielding long cola version. Pics will follow when i remember to bring the camera down. On another note, ever seen Pineapple express? Ironically enough in the the beginning of the movie at the govt test site, he talks how great #9 is. the last photos of my cj were #9, ha. Well i found it amusing. B-safe everyone!! |

Hi all . Almost time for an update, approaching day 60. And things are interesting.
Im not the best record keeper as i been known to smoke a few bowls and get confused while im gardening. get all wrapped up and believe everything is good and true, untill the next day, then I wonder, what was i thinking, such an ass, but, . wow, it's funny, after that hit, everythings alright again.i miss labeled a cutting or 2,one of the mislabeled i will show next update was more compact and more donkey dick. it might be #10 or #7 of my cuttings. but it is a keeper for sure. so i gotta run again. in the next update i will show her, larger cola, high trichs, purple hues. VERY HUNGRY plant. Everyone started getting a flush at day 50-55. we are approaching 60 now. my cj #9's look like a twister rolled through, i didnt do much staking and or tying, and to say the least, the do look like a train wreck. tomato cages would have been perfect. now i just gotta pin point the mislabeling. And get the camera down there to show what my babbling is about. Soon. Very soon. B-safe |

BG, as always it a pleasure to see you stopping by. Not sure if any of the OE pheno is visable in my phenos. But then again it's hard for me to tell from pictures some times. When i see my phenos in real life, then i see a picture of the same plant, alot changes to me. Or then comparing photos to my cuts.
For instance in the following pictures, to me atleast, this plant doesnt seem to have the sativa influence in real life as much as these pictures would show. But then again i am no expert. Well here she is, probably the sickest CJ from my garden to date. This is the unknown label, i do have a few cuts of her, but i had 9 girls, then 7, and still 5. So my #'s could have crossed with all thats going on. But i do have clones of her. Her structure is somewhat compact, she holds herself up, great trich production, and great yield. First, heres what i said about a twister rolling through, then her stem with the odd ball but nice an thick. Brilliant purple hues this run. When i get the calender in hand, we are somewhere around day 70-74, 15day+ flush approx, maybe 20 days. i started just ph'd water when i saw my misscalibration. Reused botanicare coco, canna cogr nutes & adds (rhizo, canazyme, pk13/14, canna boost foliar feed twice a week early to mid flower) ...1600 ppm @5.8 mostly. Some high phos liquid guano mid flower, mycorhizzae. First the twister rolled through. Her stem then ... I took 130 photos, of her and 2 other cj cuts, this is the winner. Forgot to mention i slacked on checking calibration on my tri-meter. The ppm meter drifted almost 600-700 ppm up. I am usually pretty good on checking & recal. when i found the error, i recalibrated the meter, set it back in the rez, 2200 ppm!!! and all cj's took it like a champ. Another afghan i had in the mix got major nute burn, but has somewhat recovered. 700ppm off, 2200ppm total or 3.14ec, yikesss. when i felt i should be feeding at 1500-1600ppmThis plant lost ALOT of leaves earlier on by day 35 or so ; Not sure if she wanted more feed. I was worried to say the least, but she kept chugging along. Im now thinking,MOST Likely the leaf dropping was due to high ppms locking out available nutes because of my misscalibration. 2 more updates to follow, but this update is gonna be hard to beat. B-safe and thanks for checking in. |
