Right track with Casey.

At least, I believe i'm on the right track. First time vegging with coco, but i have flowered in coco before, and she came out SUPER NICE. So onward i go.

Received Pack of Casey Jones from SB in December of 2006. 12 of 13 popped in mid november of 07, 11 made it.

Seeded in coco, then to coco in solo cups, now in 1 gal squares containers w/coco. I plan to flower in 3 gal's. If i go a long veg, i will flower in 5 gal's. Probably wont veg to long unless i am tight on space. BUT they are unsexxed at the moment, so we'll see.

Coco, 1 gal square containers, Pure Blend pro grow & cal mag, ph'd to 5.9 or 6.0.

Drain to waste feedings were veryyyy light at first 250ppm ppm at first,400 600, then transplanted to 1 gal & upped to 800 ppm. All 0.7 conversion. I feed them very little at first, as i did not have proper area, so that was a new project. They wanted food wayy before i could offer a complete enviroment. I hope this lag/stress does not effect my male to female ratio. But, there was not much i could do, life got in the way.

1 gal square containers, Pure Blend pro grow & cal mag, ph'd to 5.9 or 6.0. recirc system, rez changed once a week set @70f. Airstone in 12-15 gal of feed in rez. 18 gal rubbermaid. Top drip feed with 1/4 soaker hose with 3 enlarged drip holes per ring. Takes approx 1 min till runnoff, then i wait another 20 sec of runoff.

At transplant to 1 gal I ran PBP @ 10mill gal & 2.5 mill. of Cal-mag,5.9, Equaling 1000ppm (750ppm of grow & 250 ppm cal mag basically, tap is 6o ppm) also 5 mill per gal of rhizotonic (rhizo iswonderfull product, i suggest EVERYONE should get a bottle despite the price. Amazing fish bone roots, not just in coco).

Now we are at approx 1200ppm, 12 mill of grow, 3 mill of cal @ 5.9. Under 324 watts of T5's @ 4500k. Flowering room has 2400k of eye's running. CO2, dehumidifier set to 50Rh, temps now are 75-80 lights on 55 off.

When i goto flower, the amount of light available fro there is undetermined at the moment. Different flowering stages. I will contimplate my options over the next 5-10 days. If i need to add more lights, so be it.

Soon to be set on a pump timer for one feeding a day. Lights On 24hrs now, but 18/6 through the rest of veg as of tonight.

Showing some P purpling on some,I believe this was because I didnt flush the Coco very well before, and it resulted in a runoff of 6.3 . Now we are under control. Note taken to flush COCO very well, even thou this was a presteamed & balanced 5kilo brick, Botanicare's cocogrow.

Range from 8 to 12 in tall, some @ 7th & 8th node. Gonna top a little, and train a little. Plan on sending to flower somewhere around 15-18 inches. If stretch get out of control, bushmaster will be used on some.

If anyone can lend some pointers please do so. I especially am concerned of one of the lower pics, the leaves are leaving a lighter neon green outline on the fan leaves. It may be mag def, Seems to currently not be effecting any new growth. I hope that now the Ph is under control, this problem will not continue. But, anyone know what it is?

This is to all those 70's basements out there, you know what i'm talking about. Check out the simulated wood grain on the flood table i built. Everyone is taking the wood grain out there basements, Im bringing wood grain back bitches. B-safe.

Nice Caseys gman.I started 4 Caseys in DWC around the time you did and had some problems with temps and etc(texas weather can be unpredictable)..but now there looking good. Here is my biggest one and hopefully it turns out a female.I hear coco can be kind of difficult to get used to so good luck with your grow gman. From the looks of Caseys buds and the comments from the top growers, this is going to be some great weed.Peace.

B4o2nog.. Coco can indeed be a pain at first, one thing i have noticed, in my experiences is dont go to large with the containers when the plants are young. the longer it takes a container to dry, the more problems they seem to have, at first. But when they take off, they take off and feeding is everyday, and maybe more then once a day i feel may be around the corner. they have exploded in all directions.

Its the time when the container holds to much water compared to the amount the plant will consume in 2-3 days seems may be a problem. atleast thats my thoughts on coco for now.

I took those picks 2 days ago, they have grown atleast 1.5 inches in all directions. Some of the fans have almost doubled in size. I have a feeling im going to have to send them to flower earlier then i want to. I'm gonna wait a few more days to take some picks.

I have a feeling the tracks are starting to straighten out, full steam ahead casey....

B-safe everyone.

Hey all,

Growth has been consistent, these pictures are 10 or so days since last pictures. Mag def has disappeared, some cal spotting now. Some showing slight P def in stems. Some appear to want more P, Well then More P they will all get.

Honestly not sure if like recirculating used nutes. Even if i go through 10 gals of feed every 5 days now. In veg, i might start to practice changing the rez 2wice a week, or like every 5 days. I think after 2 or 3 feeds my nutrients are becoming depleted and causing the p, and ca def noticable.

They still all are very healthy thou, but im picky.

About 15 - 18 inches tall now. Doing pretty well considering its getting a little crowded in there. i would like to get more light to the sides of the plants, but extra room is not gonna be given to them since they still are unsexxed.

8 of the 11 have been topped once, and took some side branches for clones. the rest will be topped this weekend, more clones taken, upgraded to atleast 2 gal pots, maybe 3 gal, haven't gotten the containers yet. Then probably set them in 12/12 by the 23rd, 5 days away.

Cant wait to show them in flowering.

Pleased so far, nice velvety feeling leaves, pointy & erect leafs, Base stem is thicker then a sharpie already. Nice stiff but bendable plant structure, almost elastic.

take care every one & b-safe.

Blumats! Automatic watering!

Vertical Blumat grow

Blumat adjustment procedure: (for soil)In a bucket ,fill and soak units under water for at LEAST an hour. Then screw on cap( nice and tight!) under water making sure not to trap any air.
Leave dripper line at ~8cm. long.
Give the pot a good watering.
Insert B/M snugly into nicely compacted soil(not too loose) .
Open till water comes out, carefully close until just a drop barely forms.
Tighten 1.75 - 2 Arrows
Adjust as necessary for a few days, then leave it alone!

Lookin' good!! Watch the stretch..These girls can get big...So can the buds..Stake or tie them up before they get out of control..I wouldn't veg. them too long unless you have plenty of room..Like you have heard before, Casey Jones is some bad ass weed. You'll be happy for a long time..mitsu

sunny, for sure, they have bounced back very nicely.

Mitsu, i hear ya, i seen some other posts arround and they can get large. I plant on letting them stretch abit, then if i feel they are becoming way uneven i will selectively foliar with bushmaster.

gonna try to get up some individual pics in hopes of opinions on phenos. I defintly have 2 males already, but havent shown sex thou.

B-safe everyone & thanks for the input.

Some updates

Hello to anyone who is taking a gander over this way. First off, heres some Early Pearl to take a toke of. Atleast i was told it was Early Pearl. (some pics of WW look very similar thou, still unsure)

The EP Was in a recirc dwc, canna aqua. I messed up with my PK 13/14 by running it for too long. The plants suffered in size. I cant imagine what they are gonna turn into when this cycle is ran right. 5 going now, like day 8 into 12/12. OHHHHHH BOYYYYY.

Superb smoke, and the seed was from bag, i am amazed. By far one of the highest trich coverage of the past 15 or so strains i have worked with. Absolutely amazing.

Now off to Miss Casey Jones. Beautiful plants. These pics are of 6 different plants. Of the 11, i just worked with 6 of the largest plants sofar. Clones have been taken, some have been topped a few times. An transfered to 12qt 3 gallon pails.

The coco has been inoculated with Microhazze (sp) a few days ago. i can already witness the "clumping" of the coco. Good stuff.

Stiil running PBP grow @ 5.9. basically 12-13 mill per gallon, 3 mill calmag, just added some Hy Phos @ 3 mill per gallon. 3 mill per gallon of cannazyme, 3 mill per gallon of rhiztonic for the repot transfer. Roughly giving me 1450ppm final ppm.

Im thinking already, by looking at them, not just guessing, im gonna have 5 males. leaving me with 6 females. Lets see how my predictions go. Set 6 into 12/12 room. 2400k, Co2.

Even thou they have been topped, can anyone identify some of the phenos?

B-safe
