amerika vs ewrope arguments are sooo boring

besides, EVERYONE knows the best cannabis in the world is grown in B.C.

if you consider a'dam shop workers to be rude then youve never been to paris, naples or athens

its sortof par for the course in europe.. obviously there are some really nice people [mijs redd] that work in shops but by and large they have to deal with a load of tourists all day.

not letting you buy a tea is kinda criminal tho.

in the states employees are fired for not smiling enuf.. this ensures a lot of insencere sentiment of course

also, its easy to be paranoid in the dam, unfamiliar windy roads, dodgy looking people about, high as a kite

but ive felt less safe in some unsavory areas of so.california let me tell you

last time i was there, walking down the old canal toward neiwmarket [yay H.S.Blues] i was approached by a dealer who could have been snoop-dogg -minus the voice

I can't believe that a few rude Dutch counter folks could start a war between the Dutch and U.S. I thought you had to have oil before the Americans would go to war with you. Now, even the Canuckistanis are joining in!

I propose a truce. I will host a conference in San Diego and all the Dutch, Canadians and Cali elitists can bring their weed, and we can have a great smokeout for 2-3 days and then see if anyone has the strength to get pissed off.

BTW, I lived in Europe for a couple years in the 60's and there were rude folks working at many shops. I have lived in the U.S. the rest of the time and have seen millions of rude people in restaurants. That's why I no longer manage restaurants. You can't get good employees any more.

Please, no more "my bong is bigger than your bong". There are delightful places all over the world and shitholes everywhere ,as well. I enjoyed Europe and the Middle east, but everywhere you go, it is different and takes some getting used too.Just don't eat any food if you go to Turkey. We used to fly into that country at 28,000 ft. and immediately get the runny shits.

I inhabit Europe, but had my bong hand delivered from Cali...who takes the credit???? jk... hehe the customs lady nearly went nuts...I insisted on carry-on so the glass wouldn't break. My friend: "What? It's a Christmas present." Customs replies:" Well, then you must be freakin' Santa Claus."

Just as pops said, most areas have good stuff and bad stuff (service/ laws)...except Asia in general, which really does have some creepy food if you're not used to it.

I think service is really dependent on the individual serving you, not the culture they are from.

I always just assume they are having a bad day...it's commonly the case. What servers don't have problems, yeah they do, in my experience they have more problems than other workforces...why this is I don't know. Maybe being in a service industry is frustrating for some who do not have any other options.

controversy....unfrotunatly i always create it. being a strong minded individual who was simply born ahead of my time it has surrounded me my entire life. friends become foes. constant persecution. just something that has become a normalcy in my exsistence.

There was a recent news blurb about the happiest place on Earth. Zimbabwue was the least happiest at 108th place, and Denmark was voted as one of the happiest. The USA ranks pretty low. Amsterdam wasn't mentioned and I failed to find a list. With the Euro being strong and the dollar weak, you'd think that Amsterdam would be high on the list with Demark.

I guess as a whole, each place has a few eggs that just can't seem to get with the program and be polite. I deliver pizza and I can't come up with a viable x for the rude waitress and her policies.

I don't know where I was going with this, but I thought I would share anyways. If anyone finds a list ranking the Happiest Places On Earth, do tell.

EDIT: after reading a few other posts elsewhere on the site, since 911 the canna biz in the Dam has fallen off, and add to this the weak dollar the coffee shops are more dependent on local traffic so maybe when the host of the shop sees a tourist, they expect a bonanza and when it's just some poor pot head like myself, they clam up and stick to their guns.

Let's keep a few things in mind. If America wasn't who we are A-Dam wouldn't even be the weak hang for stoners that it is. The whole of Europe and half of The old Soviet Block would be living on the continents of Adolph and Hitler. Dude posted about his bad experience at the Bushdoctor. Why did this become an Everyone vs. America Thread ? I can understand some jealousy ... IMHO, the USA is (except for a few pockets - NYC, SF....) Culturally, intellectually, and ethically bereft. Trickled down from the leadership, reinforced by the Media, and the culture of Monster trucks, copious petroleum consumption, millions of single-passenger cars, credit-based finances..... The diversity of beliefs and differences in general are feared. Our leadership has betrayed us for the dollar. Christians, MY CULO...... As religious as soap dishes. Curs, they are. Any politician who wants the job should be denied.

We have (among the industrialized nations) the world's worst health care system, with the highest cost, and a pharmaceutical industry which rules the land politically (and is our enemy, on these pages for sure - doing everything they can to keep MJ illegal).

Honesty in CA is rare. Not sure about the rest of the Yoo-Ess-Ay, Non-Accountability is paramount here (selfishness - "Me First" thinking).

Yes, the best weed is here without question. One could expect that, as everything Amerikan is EXTREME, to a fault. We need the high THC to deal with the miserable politic(o)s and the upcoming economic chaos - or else it will hit us like a ton-o'-bricks, and make us sad.

I was really trying to let youse know how stupid you sounded being all Proud and Hateful (because people are people no matter where they call home) but if I must digress ... In Europes time of need we were your rescuers (doing the same buttinski war thing we're doing now, the difference being we were Invited to help in WW II by the Dutch, French, British etc. whom really needed our help and in a strange way ... the Japanese) ... The American weed speaks for itself IMHO ... What does any of this have to do with the Bushdoctors Sub Par service and weird requirements ? Nothing ... so save your book for your own thread ...
