Post your soil/soiless mix

Post your mix for seedlings, clones and flowering.I am using 50% perlite 50% vermiculite for seedlings and clones.I do find that it gets dry to quick for seedlings it seems. As for my full grown girls I use 1/3 verm,1/3perl and 1/3 castings.I use Fox Farm Grow in veg along with some Maxicrop. For flower I use Earth Juice Bloom,Pure Blend and a little Bcuzz bloom.I could use any suggestions esp for my seedling mix. Thanks

For the majority of the time, I use this when using potting mix
1/2 - MG potting mix
1/4 - Wormcastings
1/4 - Perlite

Ferts I use
Usually bat guano, mexican for veg cycle, jamaican for flowering, I also use schultz 10/15/10 drops when I haven't got any tea ready, and I'm in a hurry. I also like to use Purebloom for flowering.
If in hydro, I use GH.

I use the following-
6 cups earthgrow potting soil(made from local forest products-get it at home depot or K-Mart)
2 cups worm castings
2 cups perlite
1 tablespoon bone meal
1 tablespoon blood meal
1 tablespoon Mexican bat guano
1 tablespoon indoneasian bat guano or jamican bat guano(for flowering only)
1-2 teaspoons of dolmite lime
1 teaspoon epsom salts
then I water the plant in with 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water soluable seaweed extract and a drop per gallon of super thrive
-note-I only use this mix when I transplant -I start seeds in scotts seed starter mix and move them to this mix when the are on about the 3rd or 4th set of leaves.this has produced great results for me and seldom causes burn(it has happened in a very weak plant once.)you can also add kelp meal(and delete the soluable seaweed extract) if you like.I find that pot loves Bat Guano.

Whatz up? Guess I'll post what has been workin' for me.

5 parts peat
3 parts perlite
2 parts wormcastings
and 2 tbs/gal of dolomite lime

Then depending on if I need a veg or flower mix I use mexican/indonesian guano. Along w/ some kelpmeal too. Can't forget the K.

I got to give props to LavenderCowboy over at OG for givin' me the mix I use.

I just finished my first organized grow a few weeks ago. I was determined to grow the biggest bushes I could given a total room height of 8'-0". I ended up with some impressive cola production and the medium played a big part in the success I realized in the end.

I set up stacked 10-gallon containers for good drainage and used the following mix proportions (by volume) to minimize the opportunity for pests:

1. Expanded coir: +/- 70% (I used the pH corrected sterile SAI brand bricks)

2. Large lava rocks: +/- 20% (the kind you get for your grill)

3. Perlite: +/- 5% (from Walmart)

4. Agrosoke Polymer Crystals: +/- 5% (Home Depot)

Comments:

I think the jury is still out on the polymer crystals. They end up choking seedlings so I would not recommend them in seedling cups. The lava rocks provided opportunityies for good drainage and perhaps added to the root oxygenation. The coir was a flat out winner that held moisture in the face of 100 watt/sf+ of lighting and allowed for well developed root structures.

I think you could get the same performance with a straight mix of coir and hygroton. If you are seeking the magical 1 gram per watt of light energy applied, this is a way to get it, IMVHO.

Does anyone know of a soil mix that is blended especially for marijuana growers? I lived in Ft. Lauderdale and I remeber some guy saying there was a mix that had micro-bacteria added to keep PH levels in the soil right around perfect for marijuana.

Has anyone heard of this or can you give guidance to the best pre-mixed soil available.

Fox Farm products have eveything you could ever want in a soil mix. The mix I use (2 bags Ocean Forest /1 bag Light Warrior) does not need anything but water for about three weeks. After that just start your regular feeding program. This mix works excellent from seedling to harvest.

Before I started using Fox Farm I was using a soiless mix with chemical ferts. My plants were pale green and did not seem to be growing to there potential. When I went to the grow shop to switch to organics, the guys that work there told me Fox Farm is the best they ever used and they been mixing there own soil for years. After I transplanted, my plants they could not look any happier. Within four days all my leaves turned a beautiful dark green.
Thank You Fox Farm!!
