All the big haze that have been grown out so far have all been pretty uniform with a classic haze flavour, only differance is some buds are alittle more airy than others.

Mrpiston38 - They are rather large arent they
- Four out of the 5 stinkys are fems so a result in my eyes. I would say the sativa's are about 1 meter in total and hopefully the stretch is finished otherwise I will need to perform some bondage :pmarijuanamat - I hope that its not going to grow much more in height as I am limited for space in the loft - Unless I change the angle of the lights - anyways some pics from tonight - all of the plants are starting to show some nice pistils now |

If you start to run out of height you could squeeze the stem until it crunches then fold the stem horizontal and tie in place but be carefull not to snap the stem and you'll know if its worked because the growing tip will start to turn upto the light.
There looking real healthy,i can't wait to see big nuggets forming.

thanks for replies..
I gave the sativas to a mate as I cant be doing with the hassle of sativa's and long flowering times so now they are missing from the picture Small update as last night I fed them some maxicrop calcified seaweed diluted in water - not sure if thats the way its meant to be used but plants still look nice and happy.. The Big Bud Test Plant is looking nice and happy with loads of budsites - Still on the chempak #4 - I was using some ionic boost on the big but and wont be doing so again as I am sure it causes nute burn RH 40% Temps Lights on 25C Temps Lights off 19C |

Sad to hear the sativas have gone, but proberly for the best with the over crowding it would of caused had you kept them.Hopefully you'll get to smoke the big haze and malonica when your mates harvested them.

heh yea it was kinda sad giving them away.. I had to do it at like 3 in the morning tho.. I am sure he will grow them well as he has loads of height..
okay so update time again and I am one happy dude - The Big bud plant really is taken off and has been in flower 4 weeks + or - a few days and the rest have been in for 3 weeks + or - The Lemon stinkys are awesome and I can see them to be quite big yeilders as they are quite compact plants with real nice fatty stems and no stretch - I am going to lay the clay pebbles and the airlines in a few days as the roots have started emerging from the bottoms seeking moisture. I am feeding them something I call "Ntsangu's Jungle Juice" and the plants are so healthy looking as you can see yourself. Plants are eating 20L in total every 2 days - I will give you the formula 1oz Calcified seaweed disolved in boiling water 1oz Super Phosphate disolved in the same water half an oz Rootgrow Rootfood (aka humic acid, fulvic acids) 1oz / Scoop of Chempak #4 High Potash All of the above is disolved normally I use kettle boiled water to disolve and stir till cool then with the mixture above I mix in with 10L of water and then feed the plants I normally make 50L of this stuff and have it bubbling away till I make it again - Dont wory if your mixture has some lumps or bits in it - it will just be the bits of calcified seaweed.. lights on temp 26 lights off temp 18 - 19 RH 50% Temp of feed 23C Pics 1,2 + 3 of the big bud Pics 4,5 + 6 of the groupies (Power Plant and Lem Stinkys) Pics 7 + 8 is of one of the lem stinkys |

They seem to like your jungle juice,i sort of mix my own nutrients to.
I use liquid seaweed, bio bizz grow/bloom ,guano kalong and molasses and sometimes a little mag sulphate as and when needed and i always dip my seedlings and rooted cuttings in rootgrow mychorrhizal fungi which i've crushed into dust so the roots get a nice even coat of fungi.

Thanks for the reply matt.. Well I was reading on what most boosters are made of and the majoity of them contain humic and fulvic acids and some other goodies - I think at the moment its just trial and error in seing how the plants react over the two day feeding time and going from that.. I was reading what Grandma Enggy's Fulvic Acid contains Golden Honey Fulvic Acid, Extra Pure Humic Acid and Sensational Seaweed Extract
I have not tried the golden honey but am going to test out some Molasses in a few weeks to see if plants react differently.. Now for the interesting thing.. I was growing in hydro before and I used chempak with some good healthy plants.. What I am going to test is if my "jungle Juice" can be used with hydro and if plants look as healthy as they do with just plain old chempak.. Anyways dude have a good one Cy |

I've tryed organics ,seaweed extract, molasses and guano kalong in my DWC and it just made my roots brown slimy and rotten and that was with plenty of oxgenation to,so keep a close eye on the root zone if you try it out.

ahh cool man thanks for teh headsup.. Just doing some further research into the molasses and its probably only really any good in soil as it creates a good natural bacteria, Kinda like Yakult but for your Soil! Rather it being good for your plants it seems its the bacteria that is created by the molasses in the soil is what is yum yum for the plants..
