root growth

Since AF skip the Veg cycle can anyone tell me when does the main root growth happen.

I started the plants in cups and left them way to late in the cups then they struggled to fill the next sized pot and by the time its came to the third transplant they are not interested at all (they would have only had 4 weeks left at the last stage)

So I'm thinking for normal plants 3 transplanting is the best but for AF since we take out vegging we should take out one transplant and start in a slightly larger container and then go into the final pot?

I would say the bulk of it has to still be in veg so always use the biggest container you can always within reason of course.

This is why MD talks about his extreme raised transplant method and only transplant once. Most start in those red beer cups and once they sex they go into the final pot.

I am going to start another Blue Streak grow here soon. I am going to place the sprout in a peat pellet and once I see roots out of the bottom I am going right into the final pot. Even though i'll lose half to males i'll pull them out of the pots before they get to far along and reuse the soil. I'll have more going in those beer cups and compare them as they grow.

rapid rooter to a beer cup then to a two gallon pot once they are sexed in a cup. I have had good results doing this and have also been doing the extreme raised transplanting. It is working great. I notice that my plants turn into beasts after they are sexed. So lets say it was six inches when it was sexed, it will double in flower from what i have noticed and bulk out.

What's the height and volume of those beer cups?

Here is what I use and I got these at Walmart for $2.97 because we don't have those Dollar stores around yet.
