How do I become a test grower thanks

Yer i think you have to have like 200+ grow related posts & you just wait till a test grow thread pops up.

As long as you have the skillz & equiptment to do the plants justice i guess ur in with a chance

a few things to keep in mind:

1. keep an extremely detailed grow diary
2. Use commonly available nutrients
2.a. use your nutrients correctly and avoid deficiencies as much as possible
3. A good camera and good photography skills never hurt anyone
3.a. A macro lens can be your best friend(can use the eyepiece lens of a pair of binoculars taped to your camera lens if done right).
4. Have a dialed in and consistently performing (as much as possible) growspace
4.a. list grow conditions/environment
5. Show an interest in and participate in discussions on forums of breeders you are interested in testing for.
6. Show a mastery of at least one medium, two or more is better
7. Give detailed and accurate smoke reports and pictures of the finished product.
8. Show yourself to be a valuable and contributing member of the site.
9. (last but not least) make friends with the breeders, not to get free stuff, but to acquire information and to better understand how and why they do what they do.

I know that list is probably very incomplete, but I just meant it as guidelines in helping someone get to the point of test grower. Unfortunately, these methods have not been verified by me, as I have never become asn official test grower.

All my best wishes with ya....
but most breeders on here aren't going to throw ya free beans because of your nutrient selection.

When i mentioned the nutrient thing in my hastily thrown together guidelines, I just kind of meant exactly what I said. I wasn't hinting that using a certain brand of nutrients would get you a spot as a test grower.

If you use AN nutes, or whatever other brand or combination of brands, do a grow diary and show people not so much which nutes you use but how well you know how to use them.

Maybe I just didn't understand the point of your post.....

I suck at growing but can photoshop like a mofo and this is what I did.
