G'day Mates!

Thought I'd take a moment and share some photos of my adventure to meet the Man, the Myth, the Legend... the Webbed Wonder of Weed Himself - Wallyduck. He is a rather reclusive fellow... look closely, there's a Wallyduck in that ducksfoot weed!

Ol' Wally has a way with animals, even the wild possums call him friend:

Nice to see you posting again Abby. Very nice pictures you took. Sure lovely seeing the outback with all those lovely girls. Happy New Years, and I hope it's a great one for you.

Glad to see you folks are enjoying the show! Aye, it was a grand adventure to the Land of Oz... with memories to last a lifetime. So glad to hear Ma Pos is doing well, I can just imagine the camp full of little Possum Boys.

And what's that I see, a post by BG? Holy Goat... I mean Cow, looks like you are in the same boat as I am having to start over with the darn posts just to read and send pm's. God only knows how many it will take to get back into chat! By the way... love the new nick. And a very Happy New Year to you my friend.

Well boys and girls, please take a seat and fasten the safety belts as we take a ride on the wild side... a visit deep into the heart of the Aussie jungle. It's time to visit the lair of the duckman... the infamous "Patch".

The "Patch" is a magical place, hidden deep in the mountains and surrounded by lush tropical growth. An ingenious watering system fed by an electric pump placed in a nearby creek allows the rich red soil to produce massive plants. Of course additional nutrients are required, and trust me, it's no small feat carrying a load of supplies to the site. But all that hard work certainly pays off!

While the trees stand tall in my shots, not long after my trip a devastating cyclone decided to pay a visit to Wally World causing considerable damage. Mother Nature can certainly cause all kinds of headaches for the jungle grower, from venomous snakes and spiders to weed eating wallabies hazards abound. To keep out the larger plant eating pests, some sections have an electrified fence.

I know... How in the hell do you rig up an electrified fence in the middle of the jungle. Leave it to Aussie ingenuity, ol' Wally found a way! Protected from the plant eaters was this rather bushy ducksfoot gal:

Next up on our tour will be the Wildlife of Wally World. Please keep all of your body parts inside the tour vehicle... there are dangerous beasties afoot!

Hey Abby, very nice to see you. I sure did miss your photo's. Glad to have you back. As for me, if you didn't hear. I'm a FREE person again. Got a little pissed off one day and deleted my old account, but not to worry. I will be moved and up and growing again under my old handle BG. Then I get to start over all over again, lolol.

It's 50 posts to PM and 75 post to get into chat. Take care and nice seeing your posting again. Really missed your pictures.
