well, i leave for the u.k. tommorow and amsterdam in the new year! its my first time hopping the pond and im truly excited! anything you guys reccommend me check out while in amsterdam? im definatley hitting up the van gogh museum, anne frank house, heineken factory, every cafe i come across, but what else should i see!?

and whats the bud situation like for a stranger in scottland?

enjoy ,dont matter how much time u got in the dam you'll fill it no problemo,,things just happen ,you'll plan a trip to the heineken and probably end up in the katsu ,its that kinda town ...

as for weed in Scotland ,,unless u know someone prior to u landing who will hook u up i'd just wait till u hit Holland,,,theyre another major drought in Uk and finding anything of quality will be hard,,,

i know theres a few members living in the dam who'll probably post soon and escort u about for a few hours

im so stoked about amsterdam, my plane leaves for the uk in 8 hours!!!!!!!!

well, edinburgh sure is a rainy place, so far ive managed to only been mugged once...
all my mates' local connections are dry, so im sittin here at 4am jonesin a smoke, at least amsterdam will treat me better (i hope)

well, to say amsterdam is everything i imagined is an understatment. to dream of going to a shop, purchasing the best weed and hash imaginable is one thing, but actually doing it is a feeling you cant relate to untill you do it. so far ive been to umma gumma, barneys, and katsu. umma gumma and katsu were great, barneys has a good atmosphere but the product is subpar, i wont pass judgment on barneys hash because i only bought the ketema, which was as good as i would expect, but the "N.Y.C. Diesel" was little more than bc export. little smell, little taste, the potency wasnt there either, although this was smoked after some top notch arghileh(SP?) from umma gumma. still for 12 euros a gram id expect something better (it could be that i grew up smoking the REAL NYC diesel..)

so far heres what ive had:

barneys: nyc diesel - id rate it a 5/10
Ketema hash - 7/10 - very hard, no smell untill burned, but then very spicey and nice

umma gumma: arghileh - 10/10 - so damn good i dont remember the exact name! this bud hits you like a tone of bricks and keeps on gettin stronger well after an hour after smoking it, this kept me stoned solid all evening.

Katsu: Northen lights - 8/10 - an oldy but goody, everything youd expect from the classic northern lights! i purchased a gram, but from the looks of the bag the extremely nice (and attractive) lady behind the counter gave me closer to 2 grams.

after dinner i think ill be heading over to the doors and dampkring, and most likely back to umma gumma to give there hash a try...

any IC'ers in the dam care to join me in some fine hash this evening?

try the rokerij too there love potion was nice and i believe they have sour diesel yum yum

Don't forget to stop by the Bluebird. Excellent weed and some of the best selection of hash in Amsterdam!
