Double Dutch and Warlock mixup. Please help identify my beans
Hey folks, I managed to have a mixup with these fine seeds and was wondering if anyone can tell the the DD from the Warlock?
Pack 1 says: D01P06 Pack 2 says: well, I lost that tag. I had these sorted at one time. I was sure that pack 1 was the double dutch, now it's been a while and I'm not so sure. I remember reading a post somewhere that stated what was what but i can't find it now. Any conformation would be great as the time for the DD has come at last. Can't wait any longer, these beans will be a dropin soon as I find out, pics to follow I promise! CF

cabanetforester, the DoubleDutch is an impressive plant... I've been vegging 1 girl I have found out of 2 of the beans I've popped... I had at one point 3 packs worth of these, gave some away, and popped two.... 1 female, and she's a tight noded beauty.....
If you get a thread goin' I'll get some photos up... mosca negra has some great Double Dutch pictures... really the reason I bought em... have fun with her...and I can't wait to see your DD ladies.... oh and Gerrit is a VERY righteous fella indeed... much

Thanks again Gerrit. This place rocks. First rate all around. I hit a bump now and then, but always come back to the same conclusion. Great folks here at IC mag community.
Berry_Coughin- I'm looking forward to getting some pics up of these. I dono about a log though. Might be jinxing? myself there, heh. Something always happens and things turn out ok, but less than ideal. Wish me luck, hope I can make a good representation. Honestly though some of these folks are able to turn these DD into freaks. If mine look anything like some of these others I'll consider it luck as I would be years ahead of the learning curve..

your double dutch should more or less grow itself.
not long since i finished my 2 females i grew out from seed and these plants didnt skip a beat. kept th ph between 5.8-6.1 and never went above 16 ec. grw them in pots of coco and hand watered everyday,if you dont have a carbon filter then get 1. Very nice yts farmer. I should have most everything I need, but that never stops me from trying to change things.
I have a carbon filter and used it regularly when the those stinky Rezdog diesels were flowering. I liked the Rez stuff it's great smoke, but I want more stability so I'm hoping to find that with the DD. -I haven't dropped the DD yet been kind of busy last couple days. It's been a year since I germed anything so I'm a bit reluctant. I have a good system, but every time I don't get 1 or 2 to sprout I always start second guessing myself

Hey YTS those are some impressive results! I think I screwed up my first germ attempt at 5 DD seeds (may have cooked them) but I am going to try the remaining 5 in a day or so. What light/wattage did you grow that baby under? And how did you germ ur seeds? Also, what medium?
TIA Don |

@donatello,i soak my seeds for about 24 hours but i will chek them a couple of times to see if any crack.if any do crack i will pace them in moist paper towels in ziplock bags and keep them in a warm place.
when i have a taproot of at least 10mm i will transplant to either 1 inch rockwool cube/jiffy peat pods or fleximix cubes.when the seedling has rooted through my chosen medium i will transplant to a small 1ltr pot with straight canna coco.next transplant will be to a 3.5ltr pot and final transplant was to a 11ltr pot with 1 inch of hydroton in the bottom to help drainage. you can germ your seeds straight off the bat in any of these mediums but im my experience they take a little longer to germ. lights were 1x600w and 1x400w hps. make sure you veg them well as the stretch is not that big and not enough veg time will result in a big drop in yield.i know this as my clones taken from them plants were only veged around 3 or 4 weeks and there not as impressive as the originals. |

what about leaving them in the water until they have a small tap (you shake it at beginning to aerate it)...I have heard of this working well...do you have any idea?
