I just finished a grow here at IC and I have too many seeds laying around to not start another.

I ordered some beans from SB that were shipped on the 17th, but I'm not expecting them for another couple of weeks. If they show up early, I'll probably try to work some of those strains in. I picked up Zamal x Skunk Special, and should also be getting 2 freebies since I used expedited shipping. I can't wait to see what I get for an awesome late christmas present.

For the time being I have 2 random bagseeds a friend brought from California; supposedly sweet tooth, Strawberry cough, or a diesel strain...
One seed (Cali B) was pretty large and mostly grey with black shading. The other one was kind of tan and had reddish stripes (Cali A).
And I also have 6 Nirvana Papaya seeds up on the chopping block.

I threw the Cali seeds in a shot glass about 7 days ago and they are both above the soil line at this point. I'm going to be leaving town for a little while, so I'm going to put off on popping the papaya seeds till I get back...

Woohoo... Kinda happy, I broke part of the taproot on Cali A trying to put it in the RW, but it looks as though it should be fine.

Couldn't wait... Can't remember why I did in the first place...
I threw the 6 Papaya beans in a shot glass tonight.
Moved Cali A&B to the filing cabinet.

The cabinet measures 14"w x 22"d x 20"h in the inside grow space.
I'm using it as a small veg box. Right now I'm running 2-42watt CFLs, but can run up to 5. I plan to veg no more than 20 days. After that I'll take clones of all the plants, and flower them under the 400hps. If there is a keeper I'll turn it into a bonsai mom(will be my first try, time to put my reading to the test).

Decided to roll a blunt to for all my hard work.

Back from my trip...
God damn papaya seeds still haven't cracked... Going on 12 days since I dropped them in!
On a better note, I got my seedbay order in! I received the Zamal x Skunk Special, plus I got MODs Menage a trois and original T*haze x skunk1 freebies!

But back to the bad news. My two Calis were getting just tap water which I didn't think would be a problem, but as you can see the pH is f*ckin with one. They're sitting in a 2/3 FFoF, 1/6 Vermiculite, 1/6 chunky perlite right now.

papaya is real nice. that was my first grow ever but ive only done 3 haha. you should be real happy with the results

I'm going on 14 days now with all 6 seeds in the shot glass, and only one looks like it's slightly cracked.

4 out of 5 have cracked and show the tip of the tap root for the Zamal already!
1 out of 6 Papaya looks about the same.
I'll be dropping the Zamals in a soil mixture tomorrow.

One of the bagseeds isn't getting better or worse. I'm assuming it's the pH fluctuation along with FFoF being hot. I really only cut it with extra worm castings and perlite. The other just has slight bent leaves, kinda mutated.

I'll post some more pictures tomorrow when I have more time.
