Dank outside of California

Hey . .I was just wondering . . .

For you guys that live outside of CA (first of all - sorry, man) . ..

Does the word "Dank" as in "an lb of Dank goes for $4,000 in Minnesota" mean indoor? IE . .here in CA if you were to spend $4,000 on an LB of "Dank" it would be something like OG Kush or Purple or something. Indoor grown, super good manicure, etc, etc.

Here in CA (well . . northern CA, anyway) Indoor vs Outdoor seems to be THE major distinction . .ie . .the very best indoor herb will cost like $1000 more per LB than the very best outdoor. Is that true also outside of CA?

Yeah - I shoulda been more specific and said outide of CA but inside continental US. And maybe let's leave out WA, OR and New York City (but not New York State), too. I am especially curious about the midwest and east coast.

Thanks for the info, though . .it is interesting to hear that outdoor is tougher to find and more $$ than indoor in HI. In CA they are both easy to find but indoor is always more $$ even if the outdoor might actually be better pot. The indoor has more bag appeal I guess (although I have learned to salivate at the smell of good outdoor). Another question . . .I have not seen every kind of outdoor there is . .can you always tell the diff (in top quality product, that is)? So far I always can tell . .since the smell and trichs are so outrageous on the indoor I see . .I have yet to see that on any outdoor no matter how good.

Thanks again.

don't have to be sorry man i feel sorry for you, 4k a pound :O
dank is just a general term for nicely trimmed and dried weed with better than average potency. around here people use it as a noun or an adjective. for instance
hey man got any dank?
or
hey man that was some dank weed!

Thanks Canabudz. I have not done a good job phrasing my question

What I am asking is . . .is Indoor considered "more dank"?

In Humboldt I'd say definitively "YES" . .although there are some who prefer outdoor . .I'm not saying there are no exceptions. I say so because indoor always goes for more than outdoor here.

My research and asking of people seems to indicate that . .in, for example, Minnesota or Oklahoma or Alabama or one of those other states where the laws are tougher . . .people don't really distinguish between indoor and outdoor. Of course people distinguish good from bad . . but nobody seems to really know if the weed they get is outdoor or indoor or what (that is, if it isn't import brick). Well . .I'm sure some folks do . but they ain't sayin'.

right on dankster . .I think you're right. BTW . .I didn't say I paid $4k . .I was saying if you were to pay that much, though, it would be super crazy high-end . . . and indoor.

I actually have bought really nice lb's for 4k in late summer . .the kind where most of the nugs are photo-worthy and, of course, a trendy strain like purple or diesel, etc. I don't think it was a bad deal, either . .but of course I would've loved to get it cheaper. At that same time stuff like afgooey and trainwreck, purple-that-didn't-turn-purple-but-was-still-sick, etc, was going for 3300-3500.

I've even heard of some sick lb's of bubba kush going for $4200 . . .well . .that's what I heard, anyway.

Its weed, not rocket science. If people are charging more for one method of growing over the other then they are being silly. Its not like someones going to overlook the fact the shit is barely decent if you mention it was grown indoor or out.

Imo outdoor can be sold for less since its usually grown in much greater quantity for less cost in resources.

It also isnt very difficult to tell indoor grown from outdoor grown. Especially if they left enough twigs in it.

plantbeaners will become famous soon enough
in the midwest/frozen tundra, good cali outdoors can go for 5 a p easy, im talking really fricken good herb, though straight from calli. Usually you can get a good eigth for 60, but if its the bomb its usually 20 a g all the way up. THis one kid i know says he gets headbands, its not but its premo bud, he buys qps of his fake "headband" for 1850!!! the thing about where i am is theres never enough dank to go around unless you got tons of hooks. I mean if your in a college town you can always find killer nugs almost always indoor, but its always 60 or more for an eigth,
