I will answer this, I'm not Soma or anything like that, but I know the people from Nor Cal that where involved in creating the Urkle and no the Lavender was not used in the production of it. The male was a Black Afghani (it has since been lost) and the mom, well she's still around, but I cant for the life of me remember what she was exactly, afghani/blueberry cross if I remember right. I have, in my in my seed collection, the last seeds made using the the male before he was lost, black afghani x old school thai they called it dark star. There has been a lot of speculation about all the different purples from Cali, I have even heard that they where all the same thing just people gave them different names, but that just IS NOT true. Most of the well known cali purple clones all came from the same seed batch, they are just different pheno types that where found while they grew out the seeds looking for something special. Like Ripley said" Believe it or not" it's your call.
