Tale of an Ex Soil Grower
yes, for those of you that know me as a soil grower, its all about to change...this post is going to be filled with pics, considering there were three of us taking pics lol ..... HUGE, UBER, HUMONGUS gratitude to my friends 00420 and Hellinski, Who drove down from North Nor-Cal all the way to South Nor- Cal
 ........anyways on to the setup....3 1000 watt hortilux lights 1 430 son agro 3 "blue" cfm's 15 3 gal buckets Controller Bucket Resivoir So keeping up with the current fad I took the dive into the world of Ebb and Flow...thanks to hellin and 00420 I now have a krypto controller bucket all connected to 15 black 3 gal buckets  this bucket is connected to my res with 3/4 inch garden hose    which all will flood and drain these buckets:  There will be many, many more pics and a whole grow to follow.....again a huge debt of gratitude to Hellinksi and 00420....stay tuned |

Congratulations Hillbillieonpcp, looks like a hell of a setup. Those buckets have certainly caught my attention, thinking about taking the plunge too.
 I'll be following this thread for sure! Solid!

Damn you got some mighty good help setting those babies up.

Good luck with the new hydro setup, gonna take a little more attention to detail than soil. I am sure you know this already and are up for the challenge tho.

Depending on the nutrient's and quality of the water used at the start will help dictate how much care the system will need. If all is balanced and working I think it will be an easy transition for you.

Very very nice!! Isn’t it good to have friends that care,……I wish you lots of luck on your hydro adventure, and I am quit sure that I will be successful, I all so back at the first of the year changed over from soil to hydro with no problems at all, was very successful right from the start, but I do believe that if you design your growing system right, there is that much less of a headache involved in the long run, and it looks like you’ve got that end covered, good job to you and your friends.
Just a few things I would like to ask, what is this “blue fan” that you speak of? And I noticed some water around your controller bucket, dose it leek? And some of the buckets that are in your grow room, do they leek? I am quit sure it is from all of the construction and moving around that was going on at the time, but just wonted to ask. |
