Speaking of Multi-Flow.....Lets Do Another!!

Yes.... It's time for another bucket grow. I did some re-arranging again in the veg room. I modified the one system and shortened it a little and moved it to one side. I built a second 12 bucket system and put it on the other side. So thats 24 total. looks like this.....

I am only vegging these in here so I put the buckets closer together. By the time they start to grow into each other ...I will take them to a seperate flower room and put them in another bucket system. I just move the 3.5 gal buckets. The rest of the system stays and new 3.5 gal buckets go in with new clones.
Each system consists of 12 buckets and a controller and its own 50 gal res.
The one on the right is the Rasp Cream Grow....which is going into flower tomorrow. The left side is going to be........
Strawberry Cough.......Yummy. I took clones from 3 different mothers. We will number them accordingly.

#1 SC- mother went to flower November 27th
#2 SC- mother went to flower November 27th
#3 SC- mother kept in veg room. Best looking one. Lets hope the same for smoke!!

The total room size is 15' x 10' with 8' ceiling....cement block. The room is sealed and I run a 24,000 btu window a/c. I have two 1000w HPS lights over the buckets. One is on a light mover. I put the two ballast up into the rafters to reduce heat. Not as if it needs it.....I can maintain any temp with that huge a/c.
I usually have it around 75-77 during lights on and 77-80 when lights are out. I run them 18/6. I have several oscillating fans in the room circulating the air.
In the pic you can see I taped a dryer duct over one of the vents on the a/c. I have it trailed up and over to have it blow to the other side of the room. On that side is my mothers. I keep them under floros so they do not grow too fast.

So here are the SC in my 2x4 in net pots....getting some root growth. I have them at 800 ppm and they are loving it. I will get them in the buckets tomorrow. Just need 1/2 hose and been working in here all day...whooped

I'll get pics tomorrow when I put them into buckets.

I'm hoping they turn out as nice as friendlyfriends, Crazy Composers and all the other nice grows of SC I have seen.

A man with a plan

Great looking grow room, I really love the multi flow concept, i'd build one in a heartbeat if I had a place to put it. Did you build your own system or is it store bought? What type of controls is on the control bucket, floats or timers?
Are you going to use a bucket within a bucket or large net pots? And what type of grow media, rocks or grow cubes, I've got a buddy thats using the RW cubes and sweares by them, but he had to adjust his watering schedule quite a bit to get dialed in.

Good luck with the SC, i'll be watching for sure

HOG, Are u just using only lava rock now in the bucket itself, with a bit of hydroton in the net pot? I thought u were using it in the bottom of the inner bucket, and hydroton on top. Any particular reason for this change m8, ?

70s_PotHead...Harry Gypsna....... thanks for stopping by.
Yes ...I made this myself...as most of my ebb & flows. It saves me big $$!! I also built the controller bucket.....care of Kryptonite!! He has an awesome thread on building a controller. It is a 3.5 gal bucket inside of a 5 gal bucket. I drilled holes in the bottom of the 3.5 and filled it with lava rocks. I have the 3" net pots with a 1" RW cube in it. I put the net pots in my small 2x4 ebb & flow for a week and then move them to buckets.
I have always done it like this harry.....nothing has changed.

All medium of choice goes into the top bucket and the bottom one remains empty. I have two sytems in a veg room and two systems in a flower room. Once they have vegged up .....I just remove the 3.5 gal bucket and take it over to the flower buckets. All I move around is the 3.5's. The rest of system never moves.

Great set up HOG, definatly well thought out and professionaly done. I really think the E&F tray to get the roots goin good before the buckets is a great idea.

Talking I'm signing on for this one

This bucket round looks out of control! I'm reserving my seat for this show, that's for sure.

I love those big lava rocks, they must be so much easier to clean than a billion marble sized rocks.
