Hey Abby!!!
Nice pics!! I have one Pine Orange in Flower(8days) that looks really similar to yours. Could you please give me some information about your grow like:how much Watt did you use on her(or them)?wich medium?how long was flowering?wich nutrients? etc. Thank you very very much in advance!!!Stay safe and green in the new year!! Greetz Goldenseed

Howdy Goldenseed!
Here's a few more pics from my Pine Orange grow. My Pine Orange was definitely c99 dominant, and was harvested around 60 days. I used Pure Blend Pro Grow and Bloom, the plants were grown in soil and transplanted twice. They were part of a multi strain grow flowered under two 1k lights. Produced a nice, fruity bud with a hint of orange. Hope that helps... Good luck with your grow! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Abby

Hey Abby!!!!
Thanks for the infos and shots!!! Quote:
You said you transplanted them twice...so it sounds like you ferted them not much at all. What do you think, are they light feeders or more on the average side? Can you give me any dry bud shots? Again thanks alot,Goldenseed

My pleasure Goldenseed. Expect a fair amount of stretch during the first two weeks of flower, depending of course on the amount of light available. I've found the c99 doesn't require the higher lumens some other strains need to produce massive buds, and since the PO is c99 dominant it is one of the traits inherited. That leads back to Apollo's original question about yield, in my experience the Pine Orange is an above average yielder, and is perfectly suited for scrog/sog. Trimming and or training can also increase the yield substantially.
In my grow method I transplant twice, once from the seedling pots into the veg containers, and then once again into the flowering pots. I've found that the key to any successful grow is to maintain the plants natural momentum... any type of shock, such as improper watering, over/under feeding, pests or disease can slow or stop the momentum resulting in decreased yield. I'm also a firm believer in the less is more approach, I basically just visit the plants daily and let each one tell me what it wants rather than doing a set procedure. Each plant is different, even those of the same strain. Sorry, I didn't take any dried shots of the PO. Happy New Year! Abby

thanks for the pix abby ,,, they look great as always ...
typically my strains should yeild well ,, i use them aswell for my grows and my days are short , so i purposely choose strains to cross that will grow nice long arms and yeild well for me ,,, the c99 x calio did grow nice long arms for me , and ripened at the time i needed ... was a good grow , and id grow it again ,,, ... |
