Mr Nice Seeds(Blue Pack)

Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the Super Silver Haze in the blue packets and the ones in the yellow packets with shanti pic on it. Are the blue packets from the originals?

I've never seen any blue MRN pack... just yellow and green.

I would be interested in the colour of the new packs and some info about the date of release!

I hope Shanti will inform us very soon about these things

The old packs from before Shanti went to jail in Switzerland were yellow, I think the new stock after his release were blue.

All the packs I have are yellow and I bought most of them after ~2003.Even the newest packs I 've seen are all yellow.I ve never seen blue packs or heard of them to be honest.

I also have packs from 2002(date on the pack) if my memory serves me right and they are yellow too.

The green packs are definitely older than the yellow packs (pre-2002).

I purchased seeds in 2001 from heavans stairway and the seed packs were either blue/green. I have recently found a site with the blue/green packs. Just wanted to know if this was an indication as to when the seeds were made. The pack in 2001 produced a sativa pheno with completely reddish brown buds. I was a newb at the time and knew nothing about revegging or cloning. I want this pheno back and I think the blue/green packs are where I will begin my search.

All the mr nice strains that were produced back at 2001 are still being produced .

They were sold in green (ok 'blueish-green') packs , ..now are sold in yellow, the are the very same genetics produced with the same parents...

So you only need to try to remember which strain it was that you grew back then....read the descriptions / various reports over mrnice.nl website and see if any of the descriptions (flowering times , smells , tastes & high descriptions etc) can help you remember which pheno it was that you had grown..Good luck with your search

PS do you have any photos of that plant , this might help identify the pheno?

Sorry I neglected to mention the strain name. It was the infamous Super Silver Haze. The plant was short like an indica, but had the leaf profile of a sativa, with reddish brown buds. Just beautiful to look at and an absolutely wonderful high. Sorry I don't have any pics
