Hi All

just gotten through alot of pm on all the forums so sorry for the delay but we are doing our best to sort out things asap.

Just wanted to tell you we were contacted to enter the HTCC this year from HT themselves...a little bit late and I was in Indonesia to boot so we declined. Anyhow one of the MNS SSH flower growers who is producing excellent things sold his wares to the biggest bidder via a middle man. I am not going to mention names but I will tell you if it wins...as it came from a MNS seed packet selected by a very competent grower . Just thought it was good to mention this prior to the results.

Hey Shanti,

Glad to hear things are going well. There's always next year and the High Life Cup and a few others. Boy, it's funny how word travels fast over the internet. A little bird told me and I thought it was funny. I wish nothing but the best for you and Mr Nice seeds. We know it will do well. Please, let us know when you getting around to those old skunk seeds. Hey Shanti ...I hope you know he's adding 5 Greenhouse SSH seeds with every sample and saying you can get the exact same results..lol...

i have sent shanti a message to clear up the gh ssh cup entry. it is not the new sativa pheno, but another more indica type. possibly from an old mom some one had. personally i am smoking the sativa.

I'm not there, but I read it was the Catpiss pheno...isn't that sativa?

Er, let me see if I am reading between the lines correctly here...

A good grower grew some SSH from Mr Nice Seeds then sold his harvest through a middleman. That harvest was bought by someone and will be entered in the Cup.

Coincidence that GHS are entering SSH this year? If that buyer was Arjan, that proves that the GHS SSH of recent years in not the same and not as good as the original Mr Nice SSH. If the two were the same, why would Arjan need to buy someone's harvest of Mr Nice SSH?

So, let's say this SSH wins the Cup, which is quite likely as everyone says the original SSH is amazing. If it wins under the auspices of GHS, surely that means that lots of folks will buy Arjan's fake SSH beans or the fems which are probably S1s of an older SSH pheno. How is this not a bad thing? Jesus, folks should be sreaming about this. Big Buddha won the Cup with bud grown from the original UK Cheese cut, how many packs of his hacked 'Cheese' beans do you think this sold?

So Arjan buys 'Cheese' from Big Buddha, buying in another 'Cup Winning Strain', now he's buying weed from other folks and entering it as his own creation.

How can anyone ever give HT, the Cup , Arjan or GHS one iota of respect or credibility ?

Bunch of tossers, I kinda admire the way Shanti just takes things on the chin and gets on with his work.
