how do people get 4 plants psf.What size net pots are used?at what height is 12/12 begin?have strains already growing,but not in tight packed ebb table.Taproot

first off welcome to icmag.

id think u would want 3" net cup's at lest probly 4" or even 5"
im not much of the ebb&flow grower but am looking in to it for sure.
thinking about a 4 x 6 tray for my self!

8-12 inchs would be about a max prob more like 6-8 that i would start flower anything after that and it likes to branch out. again i allways had bigger plants and lots of room so not 100%

if i remember right hog told me he did 40-50 in a 4 x 8 hope this helps a lil and im looking forword to see othe replys

that i dont know im sure a hydro store will have them.

seach on google for hydro stores. im sure you could buy the pice and drill holes to your likings

i do a type of ebb&flow but it was all custem built.

i have a 8 x 8 table out of wood lined with poly liner and run drip every 4 hr's

I use square pots like these on flood tables...makes for better use of space...not sure the size, but I think they measure at about 5 1/4 squares..


I can fit 36 perfectly in a 3'x3' and also when packin em in this tightly, I like to go straight into flowering, but if you have to veg, I wouldn't get em no bigger than 5"...on special occasions, if the plant is a indie and tends to have less stretch, then I would go to about 7"
