Need your help ladies.

I wonder if you could help me understand a conversation i had with my partner. We were discussing rinsing the bath out after cleaning and we seem to be divided on the best way to do this. Boring it may be so i apologise now....

I am in the camp that says you dont need to waste the hot water rinsing dirt out of the bath after cleaning as the detergent used has cleared the waste and the water is simply a flushing agent.

She is in the camp that you have to rinse with the hot water as it's part of " the cleaning process".

For me this is wasteful but for her this is all part of cleaning. Now i understand that washing is best done in warm water but the rinsing, IMHO, can be done with cold. I'm curious as to what the majority think.

I apologise again for the boring subject.

I know it's a crazy thread but the missus is quite adamant that it has to be hot but she's moaning it uses all the hot water up. I'm saying it's simply wasteful as it's just to get rid of the cleaning agent and cold water works fine. Sorry to bore you all and thanks for the comments. I just didn't understand the logic she used and wondered if the other ladies here had any input.

Being a germaphobe myself, here is my answer. *I also clean houses for extra money*

Use BLEACH in the tub, it's the 3rd germiest place in your house. Spray it, let it set, then scrub it well then rinse. If you have done that, the temperature of the water to rinse it off does not really matter. The frequency of the cleaning is also important. Clean it twice a week if you sit in the tub, or once a week if you only shower.

How is this a 'womens issue'? I'm confus-ed.

Also, my bath is full of dirt, dead leaves, and perlite, and has to be rinsed with Cannazyme and peroxide.
Tee hee.

bhuda-master is on a distinguished road
it not the temperature of the water its the amount of " contact time", if you washed your bath out with bleach and left it for 10-15 mins, then rinse with cold water, it will be as clean as it can be as all the bacteria are dead, if you just spray and wipe immediatly you'll be lucky if 10% are dead. hot water on bleach releases a very toxic steam cloud you dont really want to be inhaling, therefore i always rinse with cold, this is a blokes opinion by the way.

I dont care what water is used as long as its clean when I want to use it. Dont clean it and I'll probably drop a deuce inside your pillow case.
