Hey there...... bc here, I saw a thread here in the micro forum where someone took one of these old things and tricked it out pretty nicely, then never followed up....

I thought it was a great idea for a micro grow, so I'm taking on the task myself to convert one of these dressers into a personal perpetual micro grow.....

Here's the unit that will be up for a face-lift......

and without drawers....

Now I know there are a shit-ton of you sketch-up gurus out there, so show me what you can do....

Ideally, I'd like to veg and flower in this same unit.... haven't decided on lighting or specific configuration, so any/all input is very welcome and appreciated.....

Budget of no concern, what would you do with something like this.....

what are the dimensions of it and what kinda lights are you planning on using?

maybe leave the middle section functional and have a flower room and a veg room on the sides. maybe a 150 hps for flower and a 200 watt fluoro for veg. just cut the fronts of the drawers off and glue them on and gut the insides of the flower and veg rooms and use the drawers in the middle as usual

rkrone------> I'm thinking of partitioning it with the flower slightly larger... maybe 2/3rds...

chrones..no tape to measure yet...I'll do it tomorrow....

cjk----->That's the plan.....I'll get a nice photo/diary goin' to show steps and such.....

TheOneWill---->your welcome to share any ideas/photos and such if ya decide to run something like this, I'd love to see what ya do.....

UPDATE:
I got some more reflectix today and I'm gonna line the entire thing..... gonna be runnin' coco in here if I haven't specified that before... I was thinking led for lighting , but have now decided all cfl, for both flower and veg..... gonna run 4" pots coco, with gh flora micro/H3ad style..... we'll go from there.... don't know what strains I'm gonna throw in yet....we'll see what comes up...

I'd say divide it in half like rkrone said. Use one half for flower and 1/4 of the other half for veg and the other 1/4 for your equipment(fans, filter, ballasts, etc.)
