Howdy all !

Im off to marrakech in a couple of weeks time, just wondered if anyone has been lately and could give me some tips on where to get some good quality hash (without getting busted or ripped off)

its easy to find hash everywhere in marocco. if you don`t act like one was born yesterday it should be not a problem to buy stuff. but be careful, make business only with one person, not a group. often there are groups of guys who want sell you all sorts of things, like pst pst, minster, minster...where are you from...hello my friend what do you need? carpets...? in this way also hash. its normal attitude there to western europe or american people. dont care, learn to handle and don`t get unkind also if you`re nerved

if you give one guy your interest the other ones leave you alone. so you can make your deal with him - and only with him! maybe there are assistants who get the stuff or whatever. but he is your man. for price and everything else talk only to him. be mistrustful to not clear hierachies between the guys and too much men involved...
be cool, maroccans are very nice and friendly poeple. if the worst comes to the worst you will loose little money, but not your live

btw..."hotel ali" is a very nice place directly to the hard of old town of marrakech. a lot of backpackers and other nice people there...

Thanks for the tips guys, im not a newbie, been smoking and growing for a large number of years !! Just wondered if anyone knew any specific places to score some quality gear, as Ive read lots of scare stories about police informants etc.

Hi

I lived in Temara in Rabat for 5 yrs. Its about 2 hrs from marrakech. Cannabis is commenly available throughout morroc, best places to get it are in the coffee shops, or take a 2 day round trip on the train to tangier and get a oz for 40 dollars or so, its a fantastic adventure for a few days and relatively safe. ( tangier is very open minded - like the amsterdam of morocco)

I would NOT advise travelling to ketama, its deep in the RIF mountains and unless you are local or carry diplomatic plates you will get pulled over every 5 mins and searched. Guard National are stationed every 2 - 3 km on these roads and are armed and will insist on searching your car ( they can be bribed but it gets expensive when you get pulled about 3 times per hr )

If you cant be arsed travellin out of marrakech then head down to the local souk usually in the town centre and hang out in one of the tea shops where people hang out sippin mint tea all day and smoking hashish.

Enjoy your hol, its a great place, just dont get busted!!
