Largest or most photogenic seed contest? A possible seed size contest would have to be seeds photographed next to a ruler, to show scale. Alternatively, a seed photography comp could be interesting.

I think one of the breeders should sponsor a seed photo comp. Who is with me?

what would you use as the universal scale to gauge size? a bic lighter?

I must admit, I was rather stoned last night when I posted this. I was looking at some of my seeds, and noticing how each batch of seeds is distinctly different. The color, the markings, and size. Some seeds I have are tiny, and some are massive. The largest beans I have are the Blue Sat 2.2 from SOL.

rkrone - I think the scale should have to be a ruler, or tape measure with millimeter increments.

Maybe the comp should have 2 categories. One for most massive seed, and one category for the best seed photograph (based on overall composition of the photograph).

If enough people vote for this comp, hopefully somebody will sponsor it, and we can ask DG to approve it for an official contest.

even if it isnt an official contest, we should still do it, the liklihood of DG sponsoring is slim, not to say it wont or wouldnt happen, but its unlikely, the 1oz contest thread was great and there were tons of people updating with their 1 oz grows AND it wasnt sponsered. do it either way man.
