Hello people that are interested in reading my grow of Hashberry from Mandala.First off i want to list everything that I'm using.

Dresser=$50
150 Watt HPS=$61
Therm/Hygrometer=$7.50
Smoke Alarm=$7
Flat white paint=$15
Pots=$20
Fox Farms Ocean Forest mix=$70(3 bags)Havent gotten it but am going to on tuesday with the help of a friend.
Perlite=$12
Epsom salts=$3.75
Intake fan & Outake fan=$122 I have to buy these next month!
Hashberry seeds=$28
Fox Farms Package with the Big Bloom Grow big and something else i forgot=$34 I have to also get these in a month or so.
That's a pretty cheap set-up when you think about it.

Okay I gave one seed to a close friend/grower.I planted two but somehow one of the taproots broke on me?Owell it was my fualt not Mandala's and there was one crushed seed?I have 6 seeds left and one has sprouted and is looking alright.I planted this one in MG organic that i flushed 4 times a day for two weeks with Ph'ed water of 6.6 I am hoping that washed some of the organic nutes out.This is my first grow and it's strictly a personal grow for medicine/recreational use.My mom will most likely visit me this winter so I will be smoking with her though.Anyways back to the thread Point.Here is some pics I have now ALL help will be welcomed any people that want to be buttholes can go post somewere else!!!!!

I like the setup, about how big is the actual area you have to grow in? What are the techniques/styles of growing/training you will be using?

Good luck to you! Don't know if you're interested but moonshineman's soil mix has gotten a lot of good reviews and since you were picking up 3 bags of soil anyway you might consider giving it a go. It's a sticky at the top of the organic soil forum. It's 1 bag of ocean forest, 1 of light warrior and one of planting mix all from fox farms. You'd also have to pick up some chunky perlite and FF Peace of Mind Starter mix dry fert and Peace of Mind Fruit and Flower dry fert. If you do go into that thread I'd suggest filtering to read only moonshineman's post for the best tweak of the mix (which is what I posted above) it also happens to be the simplest version. Congrats on picking a great strain and I'll be following along.

glad to see you got everything going. i hope things turn out good for you. ive used a 250 watt hps beofre and the results werent too shabby so i think a 150 might be able to do the job. you said one seed was crushed? from my order it seemed like it would be hard to have a crushed seed from the packaging.

Here is alittle update.The plans I had to get the FFOF and other stuff are off however i have ordered from PLantitearth.com.The things i got was Black Gold Perlite,FFOF,FFLW,ten 2 gal grow bags,and the general hydroponics flura kit.All that only cost me $88.64 including shipping and handling it is 100pounds+ though so i got a big deal of on shipping.They have too send two packeges becouse my order is so big.I was going to get 1day Airmail but it's $116!!!.Well here is some more pics of some stuff I lined the bottom of my box with a trashbag so clean-up is easier.





I won't be able to buy a camera anytime soon with the money I'm spending now hell I have to smoke nasty schwag for awhile but i think that'll lower my tolerance abit.I hope i can get some better quility photos after i figure the whole camera out.Also I will try that mix on my next grow it sounds like a nice organic medium.The space im using isn't big(24",14") so I should do fine with my 150 Watt I think I'll have around 45 watts a square foot.If i get a half ounce my first run I'll be pleased.I was thinking of starting another plant too but I'll wait and see if two 2gal Grow bags are going to fit.Keep the coments coming people.I'm going to be flowering at 8" so they should be 30" Mandala Mike told me but with the results of some grows on here Id say 23-25" tops.I am growing them regular my first run and my second I'll try and lst them fully not partially to get a decent sized yeild.i have heard you get in good conditions 0.5 grams per watt for every 30 days of flowering if so and I grow 2 PLants I'll be getting around 300 grams!I am a noob though so I don't really know what to expect.I have done some outdoor grows and got 4 ounces a plant but that's a whole different story well I have to go smoke schwag right now though it taste pretty good sometihng like fruitypepples with abit of spice it does have some trichomes on it but no were near what i'm used to smoking Owell it'll be worth it in the end I just know it.Time to watch Harold & Kumar and take .

.5gpw per 30 days of flowering is Jorge Cervantes benchmark for a good grower. So that's 1gpw for 60 days or 150g for your bulb. I'm not trying to sound negative or discouraging but not that many people on these forums pull that figure and there are a lot of great growers on here. I'd say for this first indoor grow try not to worry too much about it. Just worry about meeting the basic needs of your plant and really getting your space/environment dialed in. You said you'd be happy with a 1/2 once and I'm confident you'll exceed that figure if you get two girls in there. Your space is 2x1.16ft so that's 2.33 sq ft. 150/2.33 = 64 watts per sq ft. So you're doing good on light, that should be a great fit for your space. I have some of those 2 gallon grow bags and you can definitely fit 2 of them in your space, I'd pop another seed or 2 now to increase your chances of having a female (or 2 or 3). You don't want your 2nd plant to be too far behind the first or the first will shade it in your small space. Hope this advice helps.

Hey Igrow, I'm familiar with ace hardware but not with what soil they have. I'd just pick up a good high quality potting soil to start them off in. Or, if you wait 'till your order comes then I'd recommend the plain light warrior in a 16oz beer cup. That's what I started mine in. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your little seedling right now so why not use the same stuff you're using already? I'd appreciate it if you'd post questions pertaining to your grow in your thread or you can send them to me by pm. Your best bet will be to post them in here though 'cause then you'll get answers from multiple people including people much more experienced than me. I'm only book smart when it comes to growing weed, I'm doing my first grow now so I'm finally getting hands on experience but you could say my education in getting ready for this first grow has been many years in the making. Here is an update on my Hashberry grow.I have ran into some problems and I think it's ph issues but I can't buy a ph tester for another week so I dont really know.As you can see in the picture it is growing very slowly and yellow.I transplanted it into Light Warrior 2 days ago and it has helped a tiny bit.I am using Ozarka bottled water but was using Distilled that had a ph of 7.5 but the bottle waters ph was 6.5 last I checked when I had those capsule testers.I have gotten everything now besides the intake/outake fan.If anyone has any advice on whats wrong with my plant it would help.It also might be overwatering.The temps are 80' but 84.6 on the canopy humidity is 38%.Have a nice day everyone that has stoped in to se my slow progress.

Here is everything I got Besieds another bog of FFOF and some grow bags.I was alittle worried I didnt have enough room well let me say I could fit 6 grow bags in my space nicely with lst or sog.

took ya sometime to come back but anyways hello. how often are u watering ? you need to make sure u have good drainage and that u dont water too much or to little . every few days depending on pot size. cannabis doesnt like being very wet . for now though u dont have any need for those ferts . wait till your plants get a couple sets of leaves before u feed them. even then with those ferts i would only feed at about 20 25%. but young plants just need moisture and light. i would deff start a couple more seeds especially if it is your first grow. my first grow i killed my single plant and my second attemt i killed 2 of 4 .

in my opinion that plant is stunted .
