I have heard rumours that some hotels provide very comprehensive guest services such as this 1 star establishments free alternative vehicle transportation to your room/ bedside at the end of long day, gratuity is probably not included though...

I would love to party it up at the 420 Cup but I'm a landlubber and don't fly in airplanes anymore and my pontoon fishin' boat just doesn't handle them larger Ocean waves that well at all.

I wish you Good Luck with those Cup entries BG, I'm sure your genetics will evaluate and fare very well in an honestly managed and executed above-board competition such as is IC's 420 CUP.

Core you must arrive at least the day before, but better still if you arrive on 18th. Otherwise you miss out on extra smoking pleasures as well as the great events planned for the event.

yea Ronley you're right ....i woz thinking the same the other day...so i woz thinking 2 rent a room for a night....Luckely i speak dutch ....i could just drive over but as i would be 'smashed' late in the evening it just would not be responseble....i'll look into it ....:smile:

i'm sure someone will manage to squeeze u in somewhere ,,theres quite a few icer's who rent apartments for a week ,u just need to ask 1 and i'm sure they'll oblige ,,
failing that the hotel utopia usually manages to squeeze an extra guest or 2 in

u should be staying 3 days minimum anyway ,theres a party going on ya know lol

I was looking at travelling on the 16th and the 23rd. Gives me a couple days on either end to see some other stuff while I'm there. Was surprised at how cheap flights are. Is there any way somebody could recommend perhaps 3-5 of the closest hotels to the festivities? Cheap is preferred, as long as it's relatively clean and dry I'm happy, just need a corner to fall down in. Trying to get 1 or 2 best friends to travel with me, no guarantees, but I'll go without them no prob. Just wondering, beyond the flight/hotel/judge's pass, what do expenses look like? I'm thinking meals and maybe some tasting at the coffeeshops. Souvenirs and such I can budget for, but just wondering how much my munchies will cost me there, maybe a couple beers a night.

I informed Mrs. Scruff last night that I'm going, she said "better work some overtime". Flight is the priority, but I wanna make sure I have lodging when I get there too, I'm assuming reservations work kinda the same as here? Thanks for everyones' advice and pointers, maybe we need a "cannatravel agency"?

Edit: So I'm seeing flights/hotels around 12-1500, so figuring just over $2,000 to get me a flight, room, and judges pass. Does this sound in the ballpark, or am I missing a great deal somewhere? 2 grand is certainly within my grasp, barring any major life disasters. I know I'm obsessing a little early about this, but that's the way I am.
