High folks!
Id like to see an unbiast thread full of yer favorite HTC plant, followed by yer least favorite HTC plant, that you have grown.

Please limit youre reports to HTC stock, and to seeds introduced in the testers section.

please also list what HTC strains you have grown.

I am using your responces for a study.. so please be honest. I have hopes it will improve the quality of HTC gear.

I havent grown any HTC product, so I dont know if my opinion counts. I do feel that the most sought-after strain is the Deep Chunk. Post after post ask for the same thing, when will the Deep Chunk be available, more than any other HTC strain. People want the Deep Chunk. Personally, I think HTC's first comeback strain should be the Deep Chunk!

alot of people want DC. it has unfortunately been hyped.. however, it IS good. but it is definetly not the best strain HTC has....
DC is a great line for what it is.. but since I recieved it in 02-03, I have come across a cpl different purbred indica lines, of equal or higher quality.
Deep chunk is by all means, a profound indica, and it is unique to its phenotype. there are others tho, unique aswell, that have a far better yeild, and higher overall potency than DC, overall...

these lines will be announced, and introduced in the next 12 months, and/or sooner.

DC, SkunkIBL, Sunshine, and PowerHouse are all being produced first, due to demand.. HTI (OG), Paki (OG), and NHP (OG) are all following closely behind.. since beancounter went missing, I have tasked somone else with these projects, and with my original stock.
these will also be released in the next 6-12 months.

so now that the OFF TOPIC stuff has been addressed, and is out of the way..... I look foreward to some on-topic posts..

grown bubs DC, powerhouse and jamacian jam.

DC was as DC is, always pretty decent smoke. and i got great color in both the females i finished.

Powerhouse, was a great smoke, first pineapple plant ive had in my grow.

Jamacian jam was the favorite of them all, some great smellin/smokin weed. didnt take long for everyone here to start squallin for more "Jam". rightly named.

Just as Bub said the DC is a hyped up strain but still a very good plant to breed with, the smoke isnt to bad either but its just hyped to where its at today


Ive grown numerous HTC strains and love them all but in my mind the best strains in the HTC Stock are North #1 & Jamaican Jam

So far out of the HTC Genes ive grown the Mix Pack, Jamaican Jam, North #1, Sunshine, Powerhouse, Skunk IBL


North #1 is grew solid, vigourous and flowered very quickly!, has the smells and taste of the cindy 99 pineapple pheno with hints of the blue keiv in some of the phenos

Jamaican Jam is what everyone should look for in a plant! grows fast, solid, resistant to mold, above average yeilds and there is no ceiling for its high!, the taste and smell for this plant is, how can i put it! wow!!!! it has the old skool afghani smell mixed with a nice sweet fruity (jam) smell!

While, I know HTC aint at all based on a "worst" scenario.. and while I love nothing but positive reports...

Im interested in the least desired results youve found in HTC lines, as previously offerd.

see, If HTC can improve on the few and far between "lesser" desired traits of our lines, than we can do nothing but improove on what is allready good!
thats our goal, to improve what we have, and make better decisions, based on the growers thoughts!

I have only had the privledge of growing 3 DC hybrids from HTC 2 of which havn't been realeased and might not be. It's really hard to for me to put them in an order because they all had there special qualities. But this is what I came up with

1. Kyle Kushman's Strawberry Cough x DC- I found a really great lady in the two females I had. Unffortunatly I don't have a home for mothers during the winter so she is lost foerever. (lesson learned puting a mother cabinent together). But she has the highest potency of all the lady's I grew this year. She also kept a very nice sweet/hashy taste cure has been only going on for 2 weeks or less so I suspect she's only going to get better. I'll coment more on this one later in my test thread.

2. Powerhouse- I belive the cross went DC x C99 it might be the other way around? But anyways I still crave the great taste of this hybrid. Very smooth Hashy/incence taste. Very good high I loved to go golfing while I smoked the powerhouse for some reason.

3. Blowfish x DC AKA Fugu Fast growing and maturing hybrid with fruity tasting and smelling nuggets. Yeild was very good. High is a good one too keeps me very happy and very comfortable during the high. The only problem I had was lost some to mold.

What can get impoved on with those hybrids not much. I really did love them all. The only thing is making the BF x DC more mold resistant but all 3 that I grew had such large buds that I really don't think theres much you can do when it comes to mold. BTW I grew all these outdoors. Hope I was some help in the project Bub. Thanks HTC crew for actually caring about the strains you put out. I said it many times I will be a coustomer for life!

looks like you aint gonna get any negative reports Bub, wish I could help but havent had a chance to get any of your seeds yet. when that jamacan jam hits seedbay i will be on it like stink on you know what, do you know how soon we can expect them?
