¤~NFT Afghani SOG & LUI in Coco~¤
Sup ICmag!
Been lurking for a few weeks, n decided y'all got a sweet site. Got me an acccount and here I am This is my latest grow, in a smaller space than I am used to.... well a closet to be precise, there I said it! Well now I got that out of the way let me tell ya what's going on in my garden.I have 12 afghani clones on a 5' x 1.6' NFT tray. These clones have been treated with Canna's Trichoderma T-003 fungas to help keep the nasties away in the rootzone. Then they were placed onto the tray and feed: Rhizotonic - root stimulator @ 30ml per 10L Cannazyme - enzyme product @ 25ml per 10L Canna Aqua Vega - nutes @ 7ml per 10L (1/3 strength) The humidity in the room started of @ 30% with the lights on, I had to position my fresh air intake so it was blowing on top of a bucket of water, which has since bought it up to 40% still not as high as I'd like! The clones r freshly cut in this pic: Here they are 1 week later: First root showed on the eight day: Most rooted through the 4" rockwool cube by day 11: Couple days later they're on the system: Low RH stress: Taco leaf from low RH: pH: EC: All pics taken on last friday. |

Heres what they look like now.
Humidity was @ 40 when I first opened the closet so I assume that the water n' fan is working. They're also bigger so more water is being transpired by them. Here's the spacing on the tray The largest one is just under 7", with rest all around 6". There's on runt that is only 2" and 2 others are an inch or so behind the 6"'ers, so they're all pretty much the same height.Weird thing is some are throwing out branches and some are just going for the main cola frame. Odd considering they're all the same clones from the top of the plant....... Crappy shot of the irrigation and roots. I bumped the feed up to 3/4 strength yesterday checked em today and they had shot up a few cm. No burn and the EC had gone down from flashing between 1.2 -1.4 to betwenn 1.0 - 1.2. Will change the res out properly on saturday and then give them full strength veg nutes for the 1st week of bloom. STAY TUNED

sup blatant,
NFT is the shit bro. N= No. F= Feckin. T= Trouble ![]() I really have no idea of when to goto 12's with these girls. Never done a SOG before.... although my intuition tells me to bloom VERY soon. This strain has gone from 18" to 5' on me and she puts off a few branches too! What NFT system did you run? All new territory this SOG lark but never had the time to veg another set of clones after I lost the last batch too root rot. All me on fault though, but hey thats another thread ![]() Thanks for stopping bye! peace sN~ BTW your galley has some nice strains in it man

I built my system. An NFT Channel system. It's made of 4 inch ABS plastic pipes. Nothing fancy just what works. I got amazing results as I'm sure you will too. If that tree your growing gets as tall as 5' I say flower at 12 inches, tops. Lets see what happens........

On with the show.............
The LUI beans were all placed directly into rockwool starter cubes and gemed within 3 days, that was on the 29/11/04: Here's what the first 6 to pop looked like on the 31.11.04: The largest seedling is 4 days here, the tap root came through the starter cube so it has been transplanted. The others are a couple days behind: Another 2 days down the line: Largest LUI @ 1 week: Transplanted on 09.11.04 with 2nd largest stablemate: Largest LUI @ 2 weeks: |

......continued:
Largest girl @ 18 days Sensi star clones: As of tonight: Star clone & Afghani clone in soil (with hydroton on top) LUI in black pot in the background.... first time I popped beans before as I've always grown from clone. My newbiness is showing lost 4 seeds 3 to drought! and one never made it out the rockwool cube. When I checked it out it had a small dry, brownish root slightly poking through the shell. Anyways that the lot for a few days... hopefully I'll get that killer ortega pheno and a monster cola swt#3 mom too.... not asking for much ![]() peace sN~ Edit: missed ya there Blatant.... I think 12" tops is spot on mate. Abs pipe? sounds good, when ya getting it back on track.... |
