I think a thread like this is long overdue and I'm hoping all the fellas "in the know" will pop in so we can debunk some of the BS being spread around about our favorite clones...

What got me started was reading Subcools article in a recent high times about the purple clones....In the article he states that Purple Urkle is the same exact cut as Swerve's Purple Kush cut and a bunch of others is also being called the Urkle cut renamed....

I can look at pics and see that this is BS and I know you guys have had to listen to other BS stories about some of these wonderful cuts we posess....

So for all of you with questions or better yet,answers please feel free to chime in and get this shit straight for once....


So to start I'm calling BULLSHIT on this article.....Purple Urkle is not the Garberville Purple Kush cut or the mendo purple Kush or the Kyle Kushman Purple Kush.....Lets get this shit straight people....

One other set of clones that could use some debunking is the OGKush cuts.......
Swerve ,OGRaskal,Jaykush and all you others out there that have run them all please give us your input on the suttle differences in the cuts(flavor/odor,duration of high,and growth habits can all help distinguish which cut you may have...

One other thing,please don't come in here talking shit as this is a thread for learning and debunking,not arguing!

Right on Capt, there is so much bullshit surrounding a lot of the strains. I wish there were more breeders like you that not only talk the talk but walk the walk :-) I was just getting ready to send for the Subcools "Querkle" as they are calling it , saying it is Purple Urkle and Space Queen mix. Think I will wait on some Urkle from a more reliable source. Thanks again. BTW when you gonna put some more beans up for sale? :-))

seriously though, seeds can produce product greater than or equal to 'elite' clones. its all about isolating those recessive traits.

purple kush and urkle related, lmfao hahahahaha in a billion years urkle will never come close to some proper PK no matter how good it was grown, urkle is like mids in comparison. im more of a PK expert than OG but i believe i have a report somewhere on my hard drive if not ill give my 2 cents later.

one for sure way to tell a kush is THE LEAF SHAPE, kush leaves are very distinct and to be honest have not see one on this forum in a long long time.

H&L : couldn't have said it better, without seeds there would be NO elite clones. sad to slowly see the seed getting pushed down to shit by clones when seeds are the best thing that ever happened. the thing is i think most people have no clue how to pick out a killer plant from group of seed plants. with clones its lazyness and you already know.

Urkle does get called everything under the sun. Also the article doesn't say urkle gets called Garberville Pk - sub says he suspects the Other purples are the same (kk pk and mendo pk) as swerves cut. Anyway.. that article is a clusterfuck in multiple ways...

What i wanna know is where's the REAL purple kush? Never seen it on these boards or in person in any form. Anybody got a real plant shot the of the real old school purple k?
