Vertical cool tube questions - Vertical / Colosseum Growing - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hi guys. When you are using cool tubes, how close can you get your light to the plants with a 400 hps or 600 hps? I'm thinking of doing one in a vertical setup. I have a vortex 8" (747 cfm) that I'll probably split to run to 4 of these. Also, is that enough flow?

yes inches...... that's not a cool tube but a cool sun reflector, and I find the tubes to cool better.........

oh yea, I run a canfan 737 8" HO fan across that sucker... no filter....

i wouldnt get much past..4 inches for the 400...and six inches for the 600...why?? the light spreads better when its off the weeds a lil...but what do i know huh?

I'm thinking of going vertical so they'll be surrounded. I just don't want to cook stuff.
