SSH is hard to define exact regimens for, because there are many different variations in every plant. Generally it is a good example of medium (average) nute requirements. Wth pure blend pro it will be somewhere near the label directions, i.e. not finicky like blueberry nor super hungry like an afghan.

Top it for sure, and train it to your heart's delight. It is not 'difficult' plant, uness you are referring to a likely 10-week flower period or more.

You really cannot go wrong in any way the SSH is very versatile, not particularly fussy and should work equally well with 4 plants or 24 plants per light just veg accordingly.

Hey, .....i hav two keeper phenos of ssh.....one short,stout grows slow(er) in veg....average trich production earthy funk smell...loves to eat in flower and takes 70+ days does great in hydro ..... more of a daytime smoke, long lasting clear high and a fruity hashy flavor..high yeild.....now the other is a vigourous.. stretchy branchy very haze like plant, very finicky eater....dense nugs form all along this very open plant, high cal-x to leaf ratio super trich action... a sharp citrusy sweet, catpissy smell in flower ....after cure it smells the same but with less piss...very strong odor thats up there with the diesels....done in 63 days... freakout smoke...very,very crazy almost trippy mind numbing takeoff that will take u somewhere u prob dont wanna go...then get the sandman to drop u off....taste is unique, it taste like sour citrus fruits on steriods and sweet household cleaner blended together....i initially didnt like it had to aquire a taste for its flavor and effects.... love em both for what they r.....ones the cute chick with the bangin body that "just wants to be around u" that u like but take advantage of..... and the other is that next level smokin hot chick thats way outta ur league, that will have u wakin up handcuffed to ur bed smellin like tequila and taco bell, not to be seen for a coupla months.... anyway have fun wit shanti's gear....

Good luck on finding info. mrnice.nl has some ssh grows.
One grower claims to have used hardly any nutes from start to finish.Most reports are quite ambiguous as to precise nutrient regimine.

yeah its one of my favs....a total freak... both r F2's from when shanti was at gh but he said that the mr nice ssh has the same parents so u should be able to find something similar or better .... its a average yeilder at best but i can liv with that....

haha 4 different SSH plants and 4 different regimens . . . Im such an idealist but my clone is pretty good as far as being a nice hybrid easy to grow.

hi all look there is lots of info at shantis site more and more will be added the sites new so give it time how many of you have spent time going threw the site honestly ? there is great info to be found if you explore the site and more to come as it grows what you also need to relise is shanti has a lot on and does the best he can with what time he has.

SSH as with mango haze and other haze hybreeds you will get from my experence diffrent phinos expresing them selfs after all haze is a hybreed to start with now some will leen a lot on the sat side some may leen some were inbetween but all i found loved feeding threw veg now as they sex and go into flowering say the 4th week of flowering some may like half strength nutrent mixs from this point on if were talking hydro and some may still like full strength nutrent mixs its all about watching your plants and dialing them in your space once you do that trust me the rewards will be worth while.

my advice is run a search read lots of grow info on ssh out there shanti cant replie as his away so if your still un sure after you ran a search then ask and im sure people will help were they can.

I have a SSH in flower now shes in week 5 i belive and full strength nutrent feeds and is as sativa expresive as you can im betting i could jump on her and pund her into the floor and she will just keep growing .

I havent grown SSH, but I ha ve growed Cultivators Choice: Original Haze x SK#1 & Mr.Nice: Neville´s Haze.

You asked about how to train these SSH plants, so I can give a shot to try help you. I use this training which I simply refer B & B (bending & bonding), this way you dont remove any plant parts and when the flowering time is getting close you can take as many clones as you want and still you are left with a big bush.

It´s very simply, just put some string on tops and bend them upwards almost 180 degrees and bend them. Then you just wait and see how the plant/´s react and let them grow. When there is bigger branches you just simply repeat this procedure. Biggest difference to LST, would be the time allowed being bonded.

I hope this did help, these are strains that will stretch as much as SSH if not more!!!!

This way you can offer your plant as much rootspace as needed, but still keep them plants relatively short!

One more note, you should start this at early veg, dont do those 180 degree bends & bonds in flowering because it disburtes planthormones and can lead to hermafrodism in some cases..

this is what i recommend-grab some schwag seeds-they will be mostly sativa-they will be your control-start some of them SSH seeds and feed them gradually going up to the desired doesage-biggest problem newbs make is to go heavy on the ferts-a no no with sativa dominanat strains-i recommend the schawgs cause if you burn them-who cares? Remember-no nutes for the youngsters until about 2 weeks in unless your using rockwook-then i'd go 1/4 strength for 8-10 days with minor foliar feedings
