Fire On The Mountain....
This is a question directed at Grat3fulh3ad... I heard you bred alot of strains and used quite a few dead songs as the names. Was just wondering if you'd ever made a hybrid "Fire on the Mountain".
Not sure if I have this particular strain, but evidence is piling up that I do, but have not been able to find any info on it. Any help is appreciated. -Pool |

Ok, have dug up a bit of info on the strain Fire On The Mountain.
Lineage: (Super Silver Haze x HT) x Hash Plant Origin: Mid West Apparantly the grower/breeder of the strain had grown out his own hybrid of SSHxHT many times and had that specific strain down to a tee. I guess he wanted seeds or something or just an improved hybrid, so he crossed it with Hash Plant. The name Fire On The Mountain originated because the best and most common phenotype develops red calyx's in late flower, giving the "illusion" of seeing a bit of fire on the green mountain(I guess).... All I know about the breeder(in the end) is he's an old hippy. Anyone here know what HT is? Can't really do a search for it so figured I'd see if anyone knew.... Can't place any strain(I know of) that would abbreviate to HT either. |

Casey Jones is the only GD named strain floating around in Oaksterdam that I KNOW OF.
I will be at the Shoreline show on May 14th.uFb after all these years!lol Maybe I will get lucky and Pick up some good genetics or at least meet old friends from years ago. I always thought Crazy Fingers would be a great name for a strain with long towered calyxes. Stella Blue is a no brainer, Lazy Lightning comes to mind. I have something in the works I want to call DarkStar. C.S&N and Beck have Darkstar songs as well.lol Jack A Row, U.S. Blues, or who wouldn't smoke "Black Throated Wind"?lol I have a train wreck monkey balls hybrid I considered calling monkey and the engineer.lol "Nine mile skid,on a ten mile ride.Hot as a pistol but Cool inside. Like I told you.what I said, STEAL YOUR FACE RIGHT OFF YOUR HEAD!" |
