sydney cannabis cup , 2004 ..

was where i spent my saturday this week ... an event that was fairly small in its beginnings is getting bigger , and the punters that attended were a happy crowd of red eyed stoners , more than willing to smoke and yarn into the wee hours ... overall a well organised and smoothly run event ..
the trip home for us was alittle like being caught in the twilight zone however , with a very stoned driver and 2 semi conscious passengers , it seemed to take forever and we wondered at points if we hadnt stumbled into a parallell dimension .... our captian at the helm advised us that he had to keep taking breaks of round 15 minutes as that kept the hullicinations at bay for a good half hour ... amazingly we made it to our destination in one piece , and sat around giggling about it this morn when we were finally able to drag out carcasses from the horizontal position ... another successful stoner event under our belts ....

i believe the tallying is still being done to see the winner of the outdoor , was out of myself and another outdoor guy that i know ,... the indoors was taken by a fella that presented some skunk x cindy from memory , and the speed joint rolling must have set a new world record id say given the speed , i was amazed .. there were some other prizes , and ill fill yas in when i get some details from dougie ... one interesting happening was some dancing girls that were hired to entertain , they sat and scoffed down a few cannabis cookies and ended up biting of more than they could chew ,, so much for the dancing girls ...

Howdy All,
I also enjoyed the day/night immensley(nice cannagraphic DVD too Wally).
The day started off for me at Glenfield, where Dougy proceeded to hand out his power mix of hash cookies, I declined but my passenger didnt and was non co-herent on the way up except for the odd statement of "blah blah", but was sunny and fresh and the world seemed nice to him!
Upon arriving I was greeted by what could only be described as "great beauty", the scene was out of Sound of music, all we needed was Julie? lol
Blah blah blah said the sheep,

The food was fantastic(as would be), the pot was of top standard (Sydney needs new strains now) and the people were cool.
The winner was a Jack x skunk(out or in???), it gave me a full head rush to start with, followed by a heavy throat. The next 3-5 minutes was a great body calm in line with Dougys cookies!
But what I must say, as it stuck out in my mind from word go, was wallys cinderella and bubble hash.
If you are into fruity/grape flavoured cannabis, then the cinderella is for you.
Dougs strain of the widow was also excellent, I have settled on number 3 strain, which gives off a fruity smell while it creeps up on you. Cant wait for the white widow Dougy!
One guy there who I dont recall a name to had what I call a honey hash, it was a full "breath taker" as I couldnt speak for lack of oxygen after it- well done!

There were many other people who for lack of remembering cant be named.
Those 2 girls must of wondered where the hell they were once they started serving out those brown budd things lololol. :p

Cant wait to meet other Sydney people and to spread the "Cannabus" to all throughout Australia.

Sooty

ps: Im out of pot which means I cant talk as much

Sydney Cannabis Cup...Wtf ?

Sounds like something I'd be interested in entering my personal strains in,
never done something like this before, but would good to see how I weigh-up
against other Aussie's.

Is there going to be another this year fellas?, cause I'd be damned if I'm
gonna miss something like this so close to home (I'm out near the 'Gong).

Peace...

Sorry to bump such a old thread. Just wondering if this still goes on today? Or if anyone has any info about it. I have never heard of it before!
