Got 3 seeds growing some strain of chrons, been under 250w MH for 2 weeks from seed and yet only 4 cm tall...My first grow i grew with fluoro's which didn't yield alot,i'm guessing there wasn't enough lighting...Hopefully with the MH it'll grow to it's full potential...Been watering with tap water till today,1/3 cap of nitrosol to 2ltr water...Can't upload pics as camera cable is missing, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Peace |

4cm from seed in 2 weeks, not bad going, dont forget it has grown about 8 cm down to, so just give it a chance. Hope it works out. BTW thier is a MICA mega store in Fourways that has recently opened they have something that might help u, a PH meter, light meter and soil moisture meter in one, for like R250.00, get one.

Those meters aren't very accurate, other then the light and the moisture. If you serious about this hobby then invest in a ph and EC meter. Contact Hanna in JHB for Hanna meters, or even better contact Spraytech in CT for Milwaukee meters. I have a Hanna EC /TDS and a Milwaukee PH and really with both were milwaukee. The Hanna has konked out twise already, but luckey they were able to repare it. Maybe I just got a dud.
Good luck |

Sup all!
You don't need any meter if you're growing in soil. I bought a soil ph meter ages ago and only used it once.... Just use decent soil and you'll be fine. Let the plant tell you what it wants. Main thing to look out for in soil is Nitrogen defficiency, this is when the older leaves start to turn yellow. New growers will always come across this. Just keep going with that Nitrosol, it's pretty good stuff... What kind of setup are you running there? Give us some more details.... Id you chron Sativa or Indica cause that'll play an effect on your grow space...
