12 / 12 success with White Rhino?

Anyone try to run these 12 / 12 from the get go? How'd they turn out and how was the yield?

I'd love to let these things go for 2 months then flower them, but I just don't have the space for it. I'll end up keeping the best one for a mother though so that I can keep up a cycle.

Any suggestions?

I vegged my Rhino's for 2 weeks and the plants still only made it to about 25-30 inches tall at week 8 of flower (600 watt light).
Ive never known such rock hard heavy tops on a plant, so i reckon it would be wise to give at least a week of vegging if only to allow the plant to be able to handle such dense colas later on in life.

Sounds good. How was the yield and how long did it take seed to finish? After I get back from the cup in November I want to get these going. Got some LR's that'll be finishing up about the time I leave - hopefully they'll tide me over until the Rhino's finish.

I've seen lots of good things about SSH on full 12/12 from the get go. I'd like to try those too. Anyone have any input on doing this with SSH?

Im taking my Rhino's to the full nine weeks, which is just one week from now
Give em a week or so to dry and i'll let you know, looking at them now i'd say each plant will probably yield about 3 ounces each.
With regards to flowering SSH from seed, ill let you know about that too, they did about 3-4 days on 24 light, then my flo's bust and i havent got more so ive had to put the baby SSH's in the flower room now with the Rhino's, again, i'll let you know about them. Once i shift the Rhino's out and can concentrate fully on the SSH's, i may keep a diary on them.

12/12 is definetely an option, they will shoot up half a meter anyway, and will get fast into flowering...... if you have little vertical space and don't mind sacrifying some grams, then go for it!

Sounds good. Looking forward to it.

I use mostly peat moss and perlite along with GH nutes. I've got 2 400's but am only running one, may break out the other for the WR's. Do you think the extra 400 would make a difference? I've got a meter x meter x 1.5 meter tall space to work with. Any suggestions that would improve the take?

Thanks guys.

tall space means you can get rid of hot air easily. Go for as much light as possible. Light is weight my friend....
and in flowering go for HPS bulbs. Always.

The white rhino turned out excellent to grow, very easy handling stress and nutes with no problems.
i chopped down four plants, one at 8 weeks, 2 at 9 weeks and one at 10 and a half weeks.
The ten weeker was a pheno that just seemed to want to keep going, it took four weeks flushing yet still clung on to a deep green colour with dark brown hairs covering unlike the others. Ive only just begun to smoke the ten weeker but flavour wise i prefer it to the others, though the actual stone is not as powerful though definetly a bit more cerebral, i also found a seed in one of the buds from this one, im amazed really because im a hawk eye and ive dealt with hermies before but this one was real sneaky, i am quite chuffed though and i hope to find a few more, but not too many i hope.
I'd say sometime during the nine week is perfect for this plant, all the triches are milky white with the odd amber making an appearence, the effect of the smoke is a true indica buzz, a real creeper, if you sat trying to give a detailed analysis of the effects of the rhino, you'd just forget what you were trying to do and end up doing something completely different, but certainly nothing too active, this one is for night time definetly.
Taste is a bit of a dissapointment, there is nothing that real strikes me about it really, hashy i suppose with a hint of floral, like the smell you get in a funeral parlour
I will grow it again but i'll only put one or two in with some other plants, worth having around just for that last joint late on at night just prior to lights out.
