Does your security have a mission statement?
[The most important part of a grow, beyond yield, beyond quality, is our self-preservation; our freedom. This should be the busiest section of the forums, but it is not.
The steps I take to preserve my freedom and the steps I take to preserve the secrecy of my grow can be summed up by one easy philosophy. If I were to send an anonymous letter to the local PD, tell them the person at 123 Main St. is growing marijuana in their house, would the police be able to bust me? Based on my personal philosophy, I would like to think not. Assuming the police do not violate any civil liberties or falsify anything to obtain a search warrant, it's actually quite easy to bullet proof your security. What is the most common way police obtain obtain information on a grow house? SNITCH! If your eyes are the only eyes that have ever seen your physically growing plants, you have just eliminated the number one way grow houses are brought down. Let's assume that you may have been drunk in a bar, and blurted out that you are the best marijuana grower on Main St. Someone at the bar tells the police and they found out where your house is. Obviously, that guy at the bar can not attest to phsyically viewing your grow-room, but now the police are on to you. What is the second most common way police obtain information on your grow house? TRASH PULLS! Police are allowed to WARRANTLESSLY (without a warrant) go through your trash once it has been brought to the curb for disposal. Based on US case law, they usually have to do consecutive successful trash pulls to obtain a search warrant for the residence. This is easily thwarted by not throwing ANYTHING grow-related in the trash. Something as small as a card from one of your breeder packs, to the empty cardboard box your HPS light just came in. ANYTHING, let me repeat, ANYTHING even remotely related to illegal activities should be bundled up in a dark colored trash bag, loaded into your vehicle and dumped at a dumpster away from your residence. So the police were unable to find a snitch that has physically seen your grow room, the trash pulls they conducted were unsuccessful, what do they do now? SURVEILLANCE! First, the police don't have the resources, nor do they care enough to assign a dedicated 24hour task force to your 1000 watt grow. They will put out a BOLO to road patrol officers to drive by your house frequently, and watch for signs of dealing. You couldn't possibly be stupid enough to deal 1/8th's from the house you grow in anyway, so you're in the clear. Considering you already have in place all the other regularly discussed smell concealement techniques, what do the police have to go on? They've searched for a snitch, pulled your trash, and watched your house. NOTHING. I'll leave you with the words of the late great one... Remember these rules you'll have mad bread to break-up, if not, 24 years on the wake up...] Come take a look officer! |

What he posted is completely correct. The sad part is many police officers can, and will fabricate information to obtain a search warrant. On top of that, 90 percent of arrests result from snitches, not old fashioned police work.
The bad part? 8 out of 10 people just plain can not keep their mouths shut. Either they need to inflate their ego's, or need someone to talk to because they are scared. They just can't keep it to themselves. If you are one of these people, you might as well quit growing. If not, you will be arrested someday.

This has been my method of madness for over 7 years! Even if someone told the police, "Hey, I think Depths Of OG is growing weed" they still wouldn't be able to get a warrant, legally. Nobody has ever seen my physically growing marijuana, and nothing grow related has ever been disposed in my own trashbins. I've had countless girls spend the night, and the most I've ever gotten was "It smells like weed in here", then I bust out a medium sized bag and offer a toke.

Your idea is sound in theory. My comment was meant to be facetious... of course in practice things are not so nice. If LEO wants you, they'll get you. They make the rules.... all it takes is a tip and a strong hunch. Unfortunately, their mean intelligence is much higher than the median.

Is 'the late great one' The legendary Notorious B.I.G.? My favorite artist.
I agree 100% with what you have said. There really is no need to worry if you stick to that. |

i agrea with you fo sure, but if you gonna have "mad bread to break up" your gonna have to sell something at some point to someone......you get busted then and there is their warrant. My question is what is the safe way to unload herbs? obviously to one person, but even that one person can become compromised........

how are you getting rid of your trash? taking out the trash is probably my biggest pain in the a$$.
personally, I keep TWO big trash cans at the clubhouse, one labeled BAD the other GOOD. but still, I always find myself going thru the trash [before I decide to bag it] just to double check that i didnt accidentally throw away some mail or other incriminating sh*t. oh ya, remember to remove your license plate when you go throwing away your bags of trash - i know I do. its one of my biggest fears - getting pulled over with A LOT of trash, or hell even having someone call in a illegal dumping case..its happened before im sure. i never want to find out. oh ya, mine gets dumped at random apartment complexes

Depths of OG, we all need each other to help keep us sharp. We have to stay on point. Countless girls by the growhouse is not a good look.

Waste is the hardest thing to get rid of
I worked for this guy in florida. We would either take a few large bags to the dump along with construction trash and never had any problems. Also somtimes we would wait for the truck to come down the street and when the truck came throw the bags in the truck ourselves. The trashmen always thought we were just helping them, but really we wanted the trash to go directly into the truck. Anyways, everyone be careful about your waste.
