Purple Kush X Hash plant - Test Grows ~ New Varieties - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I planted 10 seeds of about 40 I have. They were taken down at 6 weeks from a crop that was hermied by stress. Obviously the crop came down early.

The room had Hash Plant, Purple Kush and OG Kush. For some reason it was only the Purple Kush that hermied and only a couple out of a 100 or so. I asked my friend for who this happened to save me some seeds from both the Hash Plant and OG Kush. I think the Hash Plant cross will be quite interesting.

The Hash Plant we have is a very high yielding strain. Light green huge rock hard buds, pretty potent. The problem is it has crashed on the Market. The market is screaming Purple Kush and the pay out is about $900 to $1000 more a lb. On the other hand the PK yields way less.

It would be nice to find a pheno out of this that has similar color and smell as PK but packs on additional weight. Time will tell.

The 10 seeds I planted are doing well with one of them having the obvious leaf deformity that the local HP has. They are about a foot tall. I'm going to clone for sex this weekend so I can determine which ones will get tested in my next run 3 weeks from now. I'll keep you all posted with pics as it unfolds.

I have been given conflicting opinions about whether the hermie trait will be passed on or not. These were not genetic hermies but a series of mishaps and a shit load of stress that induced this problem. We'll see I guess.

man I would love to score some of those beans, you are so lucky, it sounds like a winning cross, definately keep the best mother going of that cross. Purple Kush, OG kush and Bubba Kush are my dream strains that keep seeming to elude me.

So far they are slower to show sex than my other beans and some of the phenos are just slow growing period. Typical PK trait there. I have a few deformities also, that is typical of our HP.
