Slyder History? Which Northern Lights and Afghani?
Hello Tony and Rosa!
First I would like to say thank you for impacting on the world! I have a question about your Slyder variety. Which Northern Lights did you use? Was it straight NL #5 or so or was it your NL #9? I want to know if there is only Afghani and Thai genetics involved. Also can you let me know which Afghani was used? Was it by chance the legendary Mazar-i-Sharriff? I am mainly interested in knowing about the Northern Lights though. Thank you for your time!!! |

Hello again!
I was lurking around and found some info ![]() I noticed your NL#9 is from Slyder and NLX. I heard NLX is NL x White Widow. While looking at the genetics cookbook it said NL Widow and Durban Poison. Now im wondering where the Durban Poison came from :P I really respect your work and would like to get some info straight ![]() So back to Slyder ![]() So its not from your NL #9 so im assuming either NL#1 or #5 or Sensis? I heard NL #5 is (Thai x(Thai x Afghani)) x (Thai x Afghani) I really enjoy NL and want to learn about it ![]() Well, thank you for your time! Good luck with your case!!!!! |

i tried to germ them in the past and it was a real waste...i've also heard better things about other NLxAfg hybrids so i wouldn't spend to much time with the parentage...i understand alot of stuff comes already made when sag. recieves it and the genetic background can get cloudy quick in the seed industry

So from what I gathered
Sagarmatha and Serious used to be partners in Cerebral seeds. Sagarmatha sold Chronic as Slyder and I see in the strain guide Serious Chronic is (NL x (Skunk x NL) x AK47. Also noticed Mangolian Indica as Afghani Skunk X Afghani X Northern Lights. Dont know what to make of it all but Slyder is amazing! |

So from the pack I chose 2 females and males.
The females had either a beautiful rich Cherry smell or a sweet Strawberry candy smell. One of the males I had passed on an awesome sweet berry aroma. From the progeny I made, the Strawberry candy trait passed on nicely. Going to be trying my Cherry pheno F2's soon. I also have Skitties Cherry pheno in flower 2 weeks. Smells amazing and familiar already. Looks more like the strawberry candy pheno I had then the Cherry one I sprouted. Heres some pictures of my Cherry pheno pollinated to make a next generation. As Skitties pheno gets further along Ill make a thread. |

How many packs of seeds does it take to find the cherry pheno. Does it pop up often?
