I allow my PH to fluctuate between 5.5 and 6.5.
The plant itself will thrive in this range but Certain nutrients are best absorbed by the plant at a PH that is specific to that particular nutrient. Bye allowing the PH to fluctuate I feel that most micro and macro nutrients are then being absorbed more readily at some point during the fluctuation. My PH usually rises so I start out on the low end of the spectrum and allow it to climb until it needs adjusted to approximately 5.8 and or a reserviour change. |

I have posted this before... But will again, since it supports what Krypto just posted. Here's a chart showing the pH Ranges where nutes are taken up by the plants:

thanks everybody, the info is appreciated. does any1 use bc nutes? i normaly use gh, but i found an exelent deal for a trial pack of bc, witch came w/bc 3 part, thrive alive b1(red + green)
and awsome blossom, also root tech cloning gel for $15.00. it seemed like a good deal so i thought i'd give it a try. i'm growing blue mystic, and shiva (nirvana). however i have herd the bm is nute sensative so i'm keeping the nutes at 1/2 and gradualy raising. i don't wanna cause any problems. once again thanks...

i agree with krip and bb the thing is now you might go crazy and make the PH level a big issue and it's not it will float just a little the first 2 weeks let it, once the plant takes over and taking in nutrients the ph is going to level out where the plant wants it not where you want it

I use BC Technaflora..Great product. Slightly lacking in N and MAG and high salt concontration leaves lot's of resadue but I love the result they provide. The Trail pack wont last long at all, TA (green) is not needed after this trail pack is gone and you wont to continue using the product go with the Galon of Boost, and litters of Grow/Bloom and Thrive Alive (red and Awsome Blossom P/K.
I agree with Kryptonite & BuzzBob on the pH issue. Cannabis plant can utalize and grow well in pH ranges from 7.0 to 5.2 strain dependent. I usally run 7.0 to 6.2 veg and 6.0 to 5.2 flower again, Strain depentant. With BC nutrient's and Pro down pH buffer my pH never drift's but I do adjust the pH at slightly different leavels all threw a plants growth. s2 |
