Thanks for the props Red!
Welcome to the show Dr... All in all nothing out of the ordinary to expect. I've been using Advanced Nutrients for ferts and hitting them every 5 days or so with Neem Oil to control the aphids. They were placed under 1K MH after two weeks into vegging, and I will be adding another 1K HPS once they outgrow the coverage from the single. I may add CO2 if my temps can be controlled a little better. Currently the room is at about 80 degrees with lights on and 74 with them off. Still a little warm but I have some repairs/adjustments to make to my ventilation system.
Stay tuned!

Cheers

Nice w/ the Flo! Indoor or out? Can't help it, it's that time of yr.

I've got some High End, as well as Blue Diesel at about the same age as yours. Trouble was, I planted them with, I guess used soil; they were stunted. After a month I repotted them w/ good soil, and they've picked up. At that time, early sept. I germed the rest of both packs.

My Highend have a real coffee smell right now.

I plan on transplanting them tomorrow, take cuttings in a wk, then flower the following week.
Are you planning any breeding? I will be keeping all the Highend males for breeding, as it is to become a dead strain. Also like to see how the blues co-mingle in a cross w/ the B Diesel.

Hope to see some more Highend shots soon! Yours look alot like mine from what I see. All similar, 'cept for one branchy plant. How 'bout you?

Anyway, glad to have found someone growing out the HE same time as me.
Best wishes for a great grow!

Hey Highlighter. This one was originally grown, flowered, and harvested indoors then placed outside at the beginning of July to reveg. She took about 4 weeks to reveg so I believe that caused the yeild to suffer substantially. She yeilded more indoors than out, but now I'm moving her in and will try again.
As far as the Highend, I've been having a real hard time with them as well as the Sweet Blue and Red Congo. They've got a damn infestation that I can't f'in control. I've used Neem, Safer's End All, and Safer's Insecticidal Soap as well as Safer's Sticky Sticks. Nothing seems to be working. I did purchase Ortho Systemic Insect Killer but am not sure that I want to go to those lengths to control the problem. I have considered to use the product and start all over with clones from the mothers once the problem has been mitigated.
I have found the Highend to be the most finicky of the three stains I'm growing. Sensitive to nutes as well as over watering.
Anyways, I'll post some pics if my plants come around, if not, I'll save myself the embarassment.
Good luck with your grow and I hope the transplant will make them flourish.
Be sure to keep us up to date.

Peace,
Fiskars

Sorry to hear the aphids have gotten the better of you. There's gotta be something better than systemics. How 'bout a fogger?
Don't give up! Good luck.

Here's my Highend's

Thanks Dr. and Highlighter. I hear you when you say there has got to be something better than systemics but my lack of patience is keeping me from exploring it. I want the problem eradicated, and now. I am tired of dealing with it but have promised myself to finish out the grow without systemics. If I choose to reveg the plants they will then be treated with the chem, vegged, cloned again, then grown out, hopefully minimizing or nullifying any possible negative health effects.
Here is a pic of a leaf from the High End. On the underside of the leaf where the yellow and browning occurs are concentrated with eggs from the infestation. One member suggested it may be light poisoning so I did move the lights up and will have to see what happens. I just find it ironic that the yellow areas contain concentrated amounts of eggs.
Highlighter, your plants look vibrant. Keep it up, and be sure to keep me updated on your progression.

Peace
