Today I'd like to bring you my take on Bog soon to be releaced Sour Bubble. This grow was highly anticipated by me as I got a chance to smoke some last april at the IC Mag 420 celebrations with Bog himself. I was smoking so many strains and hashes that I couldn't give it a decent evaluation. Unfortunately I was picked as a judge and we placed it fourth. (Unfortunately you say) Yes I had to smoke so many different strains and hashes in three days my lungs hurt.).

Back on course, When Bog went looking for testers he didn't have to go far. Just open the front door and kick me off the steps. The timing was perfect. I had just finished a grow and my veg room was just clearing out and these seeds got soaked the day they arrived. I veged them in four gallon pots for six weeks under a 400 mh. Then into the flower room with 1430 watts of hps. I harvested on day 57 dryed for a week and have now cured for three weeks and now on with the report...................

The Appearence, Sour bubble has medium green bud leaves, surronding plenty of brown pistols and an even lighter green colored inside. The buds are very resionus and the resin is quite sticky. I made plenty of finger hash while trimming these. These buds are also hard, very hard. I can see where lifesaver gets its hard buds from. You'll be breaking up buds with your fingers for a long time.

The Smell, Sour Bubble had two different smells during its flowering and curing period. During late flowering and drying it smells like the kids toy Play Dooh. Remember that one? And now after curing it smells kinda sweet and candy like. Very much like a sweet smelling Lifesaver.

The Taste, Sour Bubble has a taste that non-discript. It is not very sweet nor has a spicy or flavorable taste. You need a drink and a mint after smoking. It's a very dry cotton mouth kinda smoke. This would be Sour Bubble's only de-merit. And the only thing that held it back during IC Mag's growers cup. IMHO.

The High, Where taste is it's only de-merit the High is it's best attribute. Sour Bubble has a dominate indica high that totally encompassing. The high envelops your whole head with a active stony, seven course high. The high is full and opens up your thoughts to a wide range of subjects. But don't smoke too much. Because it's dull-ing effect takes over and you can't do nothing about it. You don't need much of this either to get the effects. A small amount goes a long way.

In conclusion, Bog has found an pheno of his Bogbubble that's one of the most potent indica around. I didn't think so right after harvest but a good cure has really changed the nature of the high. And it's really strong smoke. Is it more potent than Lsd and Lifesaver? With Lsd their in two different catogorys. Lsd is all sativa and this all indica. As far as potency thier about the same. With lifesaver it's more potent than most, but tastes better than none. And the main reason I say it's more potent is Lifesaver I can keep smoking all day and all night. With Sour Bubble you must stop smoking after so much.

I just harvested some sour bubble myself.This is some of the best smoke out there!Very strong.Expands like crazy.I had 2 ladys that smelled like pink gum and one that was more frosty and stunk like fule kinda.Thay all 3 are strong but the fule one is strongest!

Most people can't smoke Lifesaver all day and I find myself needing up to 2 naps a day on the Sour Bubble. I have grown to love the taste actually and in a Volcano that sour taste makes it very different from most. I agree that it is a bit harsh but a long cure helps. Very expansive it is indeed as many judges mentioned that it made them cough their guts out.

People have asked me to come out with a real strong one instead of just another fruity and sweet tasting one. Some wanted another medical strain potent enough to fill their jars with bubblehash of a par excellent. Sour Bubble hash is wonderful and full melt if made properly even when made from good trim and shake.

I think you had a very sour bubble pheno there smokey and the ones that have that off smell a little like airplane glue at a certain stage are incredibly potent. Just to clarify there is no diesel in it so the sour comes from some skunk back somewhere in my bogbubble genetics. I isolated the clone 3 years ago at least long before diesel was ever grown around here. This is a derivative of Bogbubble and other fine phenos are probably to be found in the bogbubble genetic pool. Have you seen Goldmembers projected 1.5 pound dry buds plant yet? He has a thread in my forum and it is bigger than my giant sour bubble was.

This beautiful bud is more heavily frosted than the sour bubble clones ever get and it is the more BG side of the sour bubble 1st bx seeds. This one was my favorite of my 3 seed plants but all 3 are awesome. "I thank the all"

Okie grown, Yea top shelf high for sure. And all are potent. But my sativa pheno is Sour Bubble lite compared to the others.
With the short ones most potent.

Bog, I owe you all the thanks. It's not that the taste is bad. Just nothing spicy or sweet nor very flavorable. And yes I had that Sour Bubble pheno and it's one of the best highs I've found.
