POG seeds
i received 3 packs of pogs earlier this week. i noticed all the beans seemed to be a bit green/light brown rather than dark brown like usual seeds i have had. i'm no expert but i thought if beans were more green than brown they were immature and less likely to germ. this maybe totally normall for this strain, i just would like to know if anyone else received their pogs in the same condition. i won't be germing these for aleast 10 weeks because i am already in the process of a grow. any info would be great, thanks.

I can't believe nobody's answered you yet. I just stumbled across it doin some research on the Flying Dutchman's strains. I'd be interested in knowing also. My experience in the past has been that the light pale green and sometimes a beige color seeds are immature and the germ rate is noticeably reduced.
I could be wrong and have been known to be, hehe. These breeders are really good and if they say a green seed is viable for that strain, I'd believe em. It's just that in the past, the bad seeds I've had have been green or beige in color. I'M NOT SAYING THAT YOURS ARE BAD!!!!!!!! I'm just also interested in the answer. Peace |

Hi Biggs
I received 1 pack PoG last week - they are just as you say - very light in color. This week (16.08.) started them in jiffypots (soilmix/worm castings/vermiculite) along with 10 seeds Northern Lights (seedsman)-these were dark and big , though NL I started 13.08. Yesterday I checked them - NLs start poor -just a few cracked out of 10. PoG is doing nice - checked 5 - ALL CRACKED. So I think, it is OK with FD. I've just harvested 3 strong, uniform Fumar con Dios (The Flying Dutchmen) and as I remember, they were small and light colored too, so - good luck with your PoG. |

Hey BIGGS, my PoGs are fine 10 is 100% OK and one I've accidentaly killed(broke). Sorry no pics, but I'm thinkin' about that (my little nice paranoia). I'm awaiting 3 more packs of seeds from TFD (through PureSativa.com - they are serious about the quality)
Pure, Aurora Borealis and Arctic Sun. So will see... How are yours PoG seeds, did you started them? So long, man. |

Hey,Biggs
Did u started ur PGs ? I got 5 fems now in 24rd day of flow... 4 are very uniform - 70-78 cm this morning, one is more indica feno (54 cm) with stronger and afghani- like lemony smell. Buds are developing very nice so far - this is the best indoor strain I've tried to this day - very healthy, perfect germrate, ideal uniformity, no problems with ferts, watering, temps and bugs... Just a little low odor - I hope it 'll build up later. I strongly reccomend this strain to everybody who grows commercialy indoors in soil. Good luck. |
