Top-Drip Set-Up......

OK, so I'm setting up a top-drip in the next 2 days, for an 8x4 table, with 50-ish plants in 2-gallon bags of a coco blend...

does anybody have 57's (or was it Morbid's?) top drip set-up info? I remember seeing some neat looking sprinkler-head looking things that people are starting to use.... but I'm not really sure where to start atm.....

anyone?

Thanks for the links Thor I'd already read those threads, as I always hit the "search" button before I post a question - but I appreciate your taking the time to point me in a good direction

Ah sweet THMF that's what I was lookin for!

I ended up just making a manifold out of 1/2 inch tubing, with spaghetti tubes leading to a drip ring of "laser tubes" around each plant.

the manifold looks kinda like this, lol:

I realized at the last minute that I'm goin to Reggae on the Whatever tomorrow, so I just had to get something together... your system just looks more pro, so I'll probably copy it on the next batch of tables.

How many tubes do each of those sprinkler-head things hold? - Oh wait! lol, is that what "12-outlet, pressure-compensating, drip manifolds" means? Now I won't sound like an idiot at the store, thanks!

Are you still running straight tube, w/no emitters? The cute girl at the hydro store thought that it wouldn't evenly moisten the 2 gallon bags of basement mix I'm usin...

no drippers, just 1/4'' drip line and a stake.

Hey DD, how well does that laser cut tubing drip? Pour or slow drip?

Wink

the lazer tube drip was more of a mild spray from most of the rings, and a wimpy drip from some others - clogged like the 405 at rush hour...

...so I ripped that shit all out, and followed toohigh's advice - which is pretty much always a good idea (no drippers, just 1/4'' drip line and a stake.)
