I prefer empire's coco over royal gold. Anyone exp. with that? I really like those big chips they sell. I haven't ec'd it but they advertise it as 0 EC.

I think it's better than anything with perlite, I hate that stuff. My plants are never overwatered using straight coco.

you can get the Basement Mix at Plant it Earth in S.F., S.F. hydro,Urban Garden's unlimited, S.F.
The Basement Mix rocks!!! I've been killing it!

If I understand correctly, basement mix is heavily fortified with organics.
But it is recommended to feed as well.
Are we considering the medium to have the additives already there, and we add the minerals?

Brain, I water about once every three days depending on what stage of growth they're at.
