I found all coco to have to high a ec even the ones that claim to be flushed. My bros used this mix and it killed their plants. Each to his/her own though.

my bag of the pure coco with nothin in it had a runoff ec of 1.4... 3 times as much as canna coco. not a big deal to rinse it if you're runnin a few plants but it's a major pita otherwise.

My royal gold coco had a an ec of .8 the canna had .7. I flushed both. Didn't seem to matter though. They both did about the same. Huge roots in the RG coco.

Anybody know a place int he Bay Area that carries this stuff? I've been looking for it for a while.

Seaweed- Nice to see you around again. I remember you from the CW days. You always had a lot of good info to give.

Inside I use straight coco with amendments, no perlite or added drainage and it works great. Royal Gold is the best grade I've found with all that fiber in it, it keeps it's fluff. Always great results, close to two lbs/k. Irie

Thanks Dusty and Seaweed. I think it looks so good because it grew so well in that coco, did not miss a beat all through growth and flowering.
Seaweed, Those are a Bubba Kush top and Sour Diesel bottom. They was grown with RG's first coco product a while ago. The new more fibrous coco that's steam sterilized before they add microrhiza and bennifical bacteria that they are distributing now is even better. I'll post pics of that finish soon.

hey budular do you think your coco system works so well because you DONT add perlite or added drainage and let coco do its hygroscopic thing and search for moisture thru the pot and keep an even content all thru the pot sorta like a big rockwool type deal once its encased in roots?
